Decided to not eat at the resort while in town. This place was five minutes down the road from where we were staying. We got there early so there wasn’t a wait. They offer lots of different sandwiches and the coffee was great! I say if you want great food at a better price than the resort, stop in here!

Love this place. Great place to have coffee and catch up on reading a book or just relax and enjoy free time with a good olé cup of coffee.

I’d give it 3.5 if I could, the espresso doesn’t have enough bite or strength for my taste and the Mojave mocha that I ordered was good, but it was a bit too sweet for me and I could have done without the mind of what appears to be Hershey’s chocolate syrup mounded at the bottom of my drink. Overall its a quaint coffee shop in Old Town La Quinta, definitely the best coffee if you’re stuck in the cove, but i probably wouldn’t make the trip out otherwise.

I’ve come here several times whenever I make the trip out to La Quinta. Located in a very nice and quaint area of old town La Quinta, the overall atmosphere is nice, breezy and relaxed. First, their stand out is the large variety and choices of incredibly moist and tasty gourmet muffins. Morning menu items also include bagels, breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Difficulties of this place? First, the amount of flies that will land on your food and coffee cups even when you are sitting inside. Sunday morning the fly problem was extra challenging and bothersome. Next, service in getting your order correct. Nothing extremely bad, just bothersome when not taken correctly. Lastly, the area from where you pick up your beverage and then getting to the coffee condiment table. This area is quite chaotic and crowded with customers standing around or people coming in and out from the near by exit, it’s almost overwhelming just to get around. Coffee is decent and well made. Just make sure you bring your fly swatter.

I like this place. It’s average. The employees are nice and décor is pleasant. That being said, I got a spicy bacon breakfast burrito and was searching for the bacon. I think perhaps they messed up my order because bacon is a pretty predominant flavor and I didn’t taste it. Burrito is small, like frozen super market size… Which I don’t mind but the eggs were a little rubbery like it was reheated in a microwave. It wasn’t a bad burrito(it wasn’t great) but I wouldn’t order it again. Blueberry muffin was ok but needed more blueberries. Coffee was ok. Everything was okay But I didn’t lose my shit. A little pricey side but comfortable patio section and easy parking.

Decent food and nice people. My problem, though, was with the«cold brew». It was just iced coffee, likely hot, then refrigerated. Definitely not the cold brew standard you’d expect if you’re a cold brew officianado.

Ahhh, OTCC is just what you want in a coffee house: good coffee, great selection of savory or sweet tasty goodness(breakfast burritos and muffins delish), a nice variety of inside and outside seating(lots of nooks and pillars to sit and pretend to be engrossed by reading or phone but actually doing some people watching too), beautiful space. A perfect spot for local hangout and good place for tourists for a nice laid back break. OTCC is a bit higher cost than Starbucks but the quality and atmosphere are worth it. Located in the heart of charming Old Town.

Old town coffee shop has been a staple for old town La Quinta for many yrs. This wonderful place is locally owned and operated. The owners Marcie and Aaron are one of the hardest working people I know. This is a great place to people watch and especially on weekends with the farmers market going on. You will always receive a smile and a great cup of coffee from Old Town Coffee.

FOODISHORRIBLE! Forgot the eggs on 2 items, the burrito is TINY. Coffee is average at best. The pastries are generic and bland. Will not return.

Convinced my crew to detour Starbucks for Old Town. Now I am paying for it. Coffee meh. Burritos teeny tiny. Muffins too sugary and no substance.

Met a friend here for coffee. It was my first time at this establishment. I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased with my frozen coffee.

We had just gotten done with lunch and were strolling the area and felt like an afternoon pick me up. I had an iced almond milk latté and was impressed with the strength of the espresso. Usually I want an extra shot in my drink but they made theirs plenty stiff.

This place hits all the right notes. Great energy and ambience in this hip coffee joint in the heart of old town La Quinta. Cool gilded ceiling and chandelier, comfy chairs, tons of outdoor seating also. Staff is polite and efficient. The baked goods are insane. We got a pistachio muffin and I’m already figuring out how to get another one without ruining my appetite for lunch. Super moist and full of flavor. The coffees were made with organic beans, and very well crafted too. Packed with a variety of people on a Tuesday at 10am. I will definitely be back.

Very cute. After buying a few items at Gracie’s, I saw this very cute café which is connected to the store. The coffee is good but their pastries especially the cinnamon muffin are out of this world good. Best café hands down in La Quinta.

Yum! The best chai latte I’ve ever had. Cappuccinos were great and the service was fast and friendly. We will be back for sandwiches and real food soon! Great spot in town to meet up with friends or swing by for a quick warm drink.

This review is about the smoothies, as that was the most appealing menu option on a hot afternoon when I didn’t need more caffeine. The smoothies are $ 4.50 for a 16 oz. We got mango and pomegranate blueberry. They were made with Torani syrups and had the flavor of a fruit concentrate blended with ice. I missed the taste and consistency of actual frozen/fresh fruit as opposed to just syrups. The mango was too sweet, but the pomegranate blueberry was perfect! This place also serves egg dishes, bagels, spinach wraps, coffee, pastries and cookies. They have a couple couches and comfy chairs, along with short tables and bar tables. There’s plenty of seating! You can also sit outside if the heat doesn’t drive you indoors. I’d be interested in trying their bagel sandwiches and coffee next time, but I’ll steer clear of the smoothies for now.

We saw the mad Unilocal love given to this place while we were on vacation and figured we had to stop by for breakfast. We were about two weeks past prime season so the place was pretty dead but had a cute mix of indoor and shaded outdoor seating. Our first trip here was mostly good, except they reversed our bagel sandwiches putting mine on a jalepano bagel(blargh). On the first trip, they had lots of brownies, muffins and baked goods as well. The second day we went here, they had been cleaned out and it was around the same time of day on a weekday. Sadly, the chocolate chip muffin that was great on day 1 was no where to be seen on day 2. Their bagels are really quite good. A nice mix of not crammed with carbs and having enough bread that if you get a sandwich you don’t have egg all over you. My Seattle coffee freak buddy gives the coffee here a shoulder shrug but I’d wouldn’t hesitate to give it a try for sure if you need a quick bite, particularly early in the morning.

Favorite local coffee shop for brunch!!! Service 5 stars! Everyone is friendly and quick. They have never messed up and order and with the long lines they always seem to keep it moving. Also love the vibe of the staff, seems like everyone gets along yet the don’t get caught up in that friendly chit chat that makes your coffee take wayyyy to long to be called up. Food and drinks: 5 stars! Love their bagels! The pesto bagel is heaven. Always the brightest freshest tomatoes on top. Wish they’d bring back the tapenade bagel!!! Pleassseee!!! I miss it! Drinks here are great, I always recommend their chai tea latte iced, it’s wonderful and light. Also for a change of pace the italian sodas aren’t bad. Location: 5 stars! Right in the heart of the little shopping center it’s perfect for me. Love it. Plenty of outdoor seating and doggie friendly which is fantastic. Please give this place a try.
