This is the best DSW I have ever been to.
Their selection is unbelievable.
The ladies are super nice and very helpful.
Since being in here, I will never go to another shoe store… love it!
Prices are really awesome, too– you really do save a ton of money.
Their rewards program is worth signing up for… I usually don’t do those but theirs actually is rewards — not just trying to get your info.

The lady that helped me at the check out was so friendly at first. She tried to get me to sign up for their points card, I didn’t want to since I’m from out of the country so I politely declined. She proceeded to throw my change at me and push my bag off the counter. Horrible service, won’t be going back.

Great selection of men’s shoes at very reasonable prices. I like the selection and display much better than Famous Footwear, but they are both very similar. The store layout at DSW is much more professional looking and appealing, and I don’t feel as squeezed in trying a pair of shoes, as they have things a little more spread out.

We were on the quest for some rubber jobby for high heel shoes for a wedding. (Not my shoes, of course… not that there would be anything wrong with that.) They had ‘em, despite a silence of a referral from their neighbors at Famous Footwear.
Happily made said purchase (though it will be going back, since they were something of a bust, at least on the specific shoe they were put upon), as well as some flats that the wife was quite certain she needed, I guess because the flats she brought to wear with the per-​determined outfit weren’t sparkly enough, or didn’t sparkle correctly in the given area code.

I’m a shoe whore. so shove it.
Unemployment does have its perks (like not worrying about getting vacation time from work for a trip to Vegas or Universal Studios), but let me tell you that shoe shopping is NOT one of them. bastards.
Luckily, I can at least walk through DSW with blinders… no seriously, I put my hands over my eyes to block all the pretty shoes… and walk straight to the back clearance room where I try on tons of shoes that are within an unemployed budget… wait, does that exist? I guess I shouldn’t be buying any, but come on! I love me my PUMAS! and heels. Looking in my closet from my last few trips to DSW, I have realized I have a crapload of Pumas and Guess heels. I also got a killer deal on some Charles David’s. I still need more variety, but as long as I’m limited in $$$, I gotta stick to blinders and that back room. *sigh* so I shall live through my friends for now… what are you wearing? not that it matters, but it does.

If you are ever in the Palm Springs area check out this DSW. I have been unimpressed with the DSW in San Jose on Stevens Creek but the selection at the La Quinta DSW is amazing and very neat and organized. I stumbled upon shoes I had recently spotted in Nordstrom but for 30 dollars less and I have my holiday party shoe wear covered! I left with four pairs of great shoes. I will be back next Thanksgiving.
