Just had a great dinner at the Cork & Fork. No reservations so sat at the bar. No worries, though, service and recommendations were wonderful. Sliders hit the spot and the Sunday Sundae was salty sweet deliciousness!

The food was absolutely amazing! It is definitely on the pricier end, and the inside is really tight– the guy seated behind me and I basically had our chairs touching. The dishes we shared were delicious– I especially liked the brussel sprouts, viatnamese meatballs, and goat cheese bruschetta. They don’t really have any good beer here, which was a downside for my husband who really likes craft beer, but it is a wine bar type place.

We finally booked our reservation here(had to do it a week in advance) and Cork & Fork did not disappoint. Really generous happy hour and a good wine list. We had the artisan cheese plate(one of the best I’ve had in a long time), goat cheese bruschetta, tequila lime shrimp tacos wrapped in lettuce, grown up grilled cheese, and the margherita pizza. The grown up grilled cheese was good, but it didn’t impress me as much as I thought it would; BUT, the tequila lime shrimp tacos were incredible. I was tempted to place another order. All in all, a great experience. We’ll be back!

Yes, I didn’t love this place but I really liked it and I think that I will like it in the future. I want to try a few more menu items and we’ll see if they earn a 5-star rating. I got the veggie lasagna and was a little let down by the size. I’m not in favor massive quantities but im 6ft 200lbs and I have my limits. The atmosphere was just OK. Kind of tucked at the back end of a strip mall.

This place is amazing. I own Juicy Juicy(juice bar) and a few of my customers kept asking me if I ‘went there yet’. I promised I would, so on our date night, my husband and I brought his cousin and his wife. We had no idea what a treat we were in for! Everything was exploding with flavor. Employees were amazing. great team work, we wanted for nothing. Dessert was to die for. We tried so many things, the cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, zucchini noodles, veggie tacos, Bread pudding, and Sunday Sunday. I honestly cannot chose one thing I loved more than the other. Everything was amazing! I also loved that there were young kids in the kitchen making this stuff! They Frickin ROCK! We will be back!(OFTEN!)

Checked on open table for a reservation for two on Sunday at about 6:30 and it only showed availability for 8pm but I called and they told me they could take us in about an hour at 7:30. We showed up at 7:30 and were seated and greeted right away. A nice woman offered us drinks and let us know that our server Wendy would be right with us. She was. Wendy asked if we had been in before(we have) and offered to answer any questions we might have about the menu but we were ready to order some things so we jumped right in. We started with the cheese plate– our favorite in town probably because of the truffle honey. The portion has been reduced from the last time we were here but it’s still plenty for two. The deviled eggs; which were my favorite new item we tried had pickled jalapeños on top that made the dish! We also had the roasted brussels sprouts that are excellent although I could’ve sworn they had pistachios in them last time but they were yummy either way. I’ve had the lobster shooter here before and liked it but it was a little heavy on the wine taste for me but still excellent. We had the Kahlua pork tacos which were a good sized portion and very tasty. We also had the chicken confit with parsnip purée and crispy kale and really enjoyed it with a pinch of salt added. We had a pizza with peppers and a sweet sausage; I’m not sure what the name was, but although the crust was excellent it was a little one note for us(sweet) if I had it again I would add some of those pickled jalapeños! I’ve also had the adult grilled cheese here– it’s really good, just order it. This was the first time we had dessert here, we had the Sunday sundae– it was out of this world good! The salted caramel gelato is AMAZING!!! Overall the Cork and Fork never disappoints and is one of our favorite places to go. Our dinner was about $ 60 per person(we just drank water) and we left stuffed and satisfied. The service was excellent; the perfect blend of attentiveness and space to enjoy our food experience. I would definitely recommend reservations as the space isn’t that large and is usually full.

Delicious wine and tapas for a strip mall restaurant! I came in with three others with no reservation on a Friday night at 8 and we had no problem being seated right away. They have beer/wine/champange and Soju cocktails(no liquor) so we each picked our poison(I went with cava). The standouts of the appetizers were the goat cheese bruchetta(YUM) and the poke nachos(perfectly bite sized with a delicious aioli). We also got the deviled eggs, which were just OK and the luau salad. I ordered the zuchinni noodles with sausage for my main course– fun play on spaghetti but the best part was the smoky sausage. I also tried the shrimp étouffée and really enjoyed the bite of shrimp and sausage(sensing a trend?) as well! Others ordered the grilled cheese and tacos but I didn’t get to try them out — looked like they were a hit from the clean plates! We finished off the meal with the sunday sundae which was a sugar BOMBBBB but realllllyyy indulgent and freaking awesome! We all only had a couple of bites-which is probably all you would be able to handle with it being pretty one note on the sweet side. Interesting plates, good service, and cool ambiance!

Looking for some unique wine offerings and some light appetizers to go with it? Belly up to the wine bar and get ready to spread your wings. If it were just for the wine selection and gastronomy, I would give it five stars. Unfortunately, too many other things get in the way of making it a pleasurable experience. Apparently, if you don’t have reservations, you can only sit at the bar. Or at least I think that is why two otherwise polite and professionally dressed persons at 5PM would have to sit at the bar in an otherwise empty restaurant the whole evening. I very rarely discount stars for service but this was quite impolite, in my opinion. Actually, I am glad I didn’t sit at a table, at least not with other patrons. The spacing is so tight, you will definitely be dining with your neighbor. And the server at the bar was a wonderful person to interact with. I see this restaurant is rated«$$» for the cost. Ummm… no. If you actually want to eat enough to fill your stomach, it will be at least $ 75 per person. We spent close to $ 100 on two small plates, one small dessert, and two small pours of wine. To say the least, we left hungry. Did I use the word«small» enough? So if you have the appetite of a bird or can afford to order a dozen items, have reservations, and know the owner, you can consider this place for dinner. Or just make it the first stop of the night. Just remember this is not a restaurant and you will be fine.

First time dinner and last time. Too many chairs at the bar. Service at the bar he was to busy, making sure his couple sitting at the bar was getting service. Had to flag him down for me to be able to order and had to ask him twice for water. Everyone else was getting water and anything else. Came for happy hour and got charged $ 15.00 for a glass of wine. Yes, he ask me to test it maybe you should mention is not the $ 6.00. Thanks I try and never be back

1 star for service– Helen was great. Very informative about the wines and overall menu. Super friendly and attentive. 1 star for food– super tasty; only had cauliflower and farmers salad, but they were delish. Decent size for shared plates. 1 star for atmosphere– nice, consistent style. Trendy but not obnoxious. Intimate but I didn’t feel like I had to whisper. .5 star for something special– we tasted 5 wines between the two of us before picking and didn’t feel pressured .5 star for value– everything was really good, but at the end of the day we still felt the bill– even at happy hour. My boyfriend didn’t feel like the value of the wines matched the prices.

This place is amazing! Our group of 7 arrived at 7pm to sit down without a reservation and there was not an empty table in the place. We sat at the bar and ordered a bottle of wine and 4 appetizers. These were demolished in about 5 minutes. The goat cheese bruschetta was unbelievable. We ended up with 3 orders of that by the end of the night. They were able to seat us in about 45 minutes. We ordered a lot more food! Everyone shared. The lobster risotto was fantastic. The pizzas were also really good. There was so much yummy food on the table I didn’t know where to start. We also ordered dessert, 4 of them to be exact. My favorite was the Hawaiian bread pudding. A definite must if you eat here! The service was great. The food was great! The ambiance and décor was really nice. This was a great find out in the desert!

Travelled from Sacramento for a triathlon. Pre race meal was AWESOME!!! Margherita pizza was likely one of the best I’ve had. Brussels sprouts were easily made vegan and crispy and delicious. We came for happy hour so I could get to bed early. including my friend’s lobster shooter and our desserts(root beer float and Kings Hawaiian bread pudding) was $ 40. Overall: reasonably priced, generous portions, great wine list(no wine for me before a race!), great atmosphere, vegan/vegetarian friendly, quick friendly service. Cons: this restaurant is over 400 miles from home for me.

I went to Cork & Fork on a Tueasday afternon around 5:30 pm. with a friend. It was pretty quiet, in fact there was only 2 other tables. But later on it started getting busy. We ordered house salad, margarita pizza, ahi nachos and lobster risotto. Ahi nachos and house salad was good. I liked the fact that they put lots of blue cheese on the salad. But Pizza and Risotto was meh. Pizza was way too salty andy risotto had strong fishy smell. The sevice was outstanding. I will go back again to try some other items in the menu.

The menu sounds exciting, the presentation is great, but the food execution is just ok. Look at the picture I shot of the bruschetta. It’s got lots of stuff in it, it looks great… but it’s a kitchen sink of flavors. There’s a heavy reliance on salt and oil/butter, the heavier flavors, not as much on fresh ingredients imparting a refreshing flavor — like a simple bruschetta with burrata and heirloom tomatoes would impart. I love salt, but everything was over salted. The butterscotch pot du crème didn’t have a taste of salt like you’d want from something like salted caramel ice cream, it was an overwhelming salt taste without a warm, rich butterscotch flavor. The service was great — attentive but not overbearing or pushy. Really top notch. If you just want to snack, it’s two $ signs($$) as it’s listed. But if you want a full meal and drinks, it’s gonna cost you $ 50/person($$$) because it’s tapas(small plates).

Wow, I’m impressed by this hidden joint, to which we headed on our first night in Indian Wells. Although there were some misses, the overall effort of providing unique tasty fare paired with some remarkable wine was appreciated by our all-gal group. We all went for the affordable prix fixed menu and a beautiful bottle of Cabernet. We loved the crazy heavy fried cauliflower and also the pizza dripping with ooey gooey cheese. My polenta and shrimp was a little too salty though and my salad had really nothing more than lettuce. But all that aside, this was absolutely a great find especially given that they’re only open a few hours a night in the summer. Happy we got a chance to dine here.

Fresh off the plane on a Thursday night, four friends and I strolled into Cork & Fork in hopes of landing a good quality meal before what would inevitably be a weekend of culinary sins at Stagecoach. Roadblock: no reservation, and no seating available for the evening. We held our heads in shame. But what’s this? The hostess strolled after us as we were getting into our car and let us know that they’d likely be able to sit the five of us at the bar if we could wait 20 minutes. No problem, and I couldn’t be happier that we waited it out. What a meal. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Cork & Fork absolutely knock it out of the park with respect to both service and atmosphere. Quaint and comfortable, there’s a classy vibe that’s combo’d with a rockstar bar staff. We were told ahead of time that our substantial food order would likely back up the kitchen for 20 minutes or so, but we were happy to pass the time with small plates and a great selection of fantastic wines and beers. Fantastic. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Reasonable across the board, which was a pleasant surprise considering what Cork & Fork could probably get away with charging the typically affluent clientele. My dual beef sliders came in at $ 11.00, which was more than reasonable considering a food truck in Dallas will charge me $ 4.00 a pop. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Each and every one of the dishes enjoyed by my party were very, very good. While a bit on the salty side, my sliders were packed with both flavor and quality ingredients, and combo’ing them with the top notch dipping sauces that came with our sweet potato fries turned out to be a wise choice. The salad? Excellent. The nachos? A great starter. Looking back on a fantastic weekend in it’s entirety, my group of friends have all been quick to point out our meal at Cork & Fork. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? I don’t know the La Quinta /Palm Springs area well, but I now fully understand why Cork & Fork was absolutely packed on a Thursday night in April. A wonderful atmosphere with great service and food is a winning combination that I’d gladly tend to daily. Star Granted.

I had dinner here with my husband and son on Friday night, while we were in town for Coachella. Pros: — reasonably-prices food — lots of small plate options(which I prefer over large entrees) — good wine list — friendly service — yummy ahi nachos and Hawaiian bread pudding Cons: — no cocktails — we were recommended the fried cauliflower but I thought it was too starchy.
