Caution! Do not buy anything from this filthy store. It does not surprise me that management doesn’t bother to attend to a complaining customer. I bought ½lbs of roasted peanuts on Monday ⁶⁄₁₃. I became very ill that night. Throwing up all night. I know it wasn’t my dinner that made me ill because my wife and daughter had the same dinner. But these peanuts that I bought at this store must have been old. These were not in a package they were in an open area where you get as many as you want. I went to the store the following day Tuesday to speak with the manager. I asked an employee if he could direct me to the manager. He went to look for her. We found here in the eatery area and «Bernice the manager» said she’s on her lunch break. All I wanted to do is let her know that the peanuts might be bad. But she didn’t bother to do anything. So stay away from here.

It’s the only store within a 2 mile radius (Stater Bros & Superior are the next closest). It’s convenient for the residences of this neighborhood. This store is very small and generic. It carries all the basics with a little bit of selection. It’s a great store to walk in & get a few things without hardly any wait times to get checked out. The employees are nice and helpful. I do not recommend this store for all of your large grocery shopping trips.

I used to like this Mexican market as a kid, but I went in just a couple of weeks ago, and it was scary. Everything was kind of dirty or dusty or black, and the produce was not fresh at all. The carniceria portion was not too bad, but everything else was «meh.» They even have carts from all sorts of other stores. There are a lot of items and carts blocking the check out lanes, and I imagine it would be pretty difficult to leave the store if there were a fire. Our cashier was nice though. I don’t think I’ll be back here anytime soon…

Pretty good sized Mexican market. Similar to Cardenas. Has a meat market that’s clean. Lots of produce. The outside definitely need some remodeling though.
