Came in on a Saturday 530pm and was told they are closed! He began to state the kitchen is too busy with catering jobs. What kind of restaurant closes to the public. And if they did they should note that so that people who drive from afar don’t do so. What a joke. Better make sure to call ahead

Absolutely delicious lunch buffet. You walk in and you get seated with drinks and they ask you garlic or plain naan. We got the mango lassi(thick and mangoey) and proceeded to chow down. Their vegetarian samosas are delish! The chicken in the butter chicken is not dry at all! Yum! Would come back from the lunch buffet. PS. Don’t listen to Google. Go into the plaza with the laundry mat… Google wanted to take us in the back alley to their back door…

The food here is great!!! The costumer service needs improvement. I love Indian food and I have tried many Indian restaurant from L.A. to Orange County and this place is one of the best masala I’ve had. I’ve been here twice with the family and we’ll definitely be back.

This place was pretty good! Lunch buffet was only $ 11. The location is not so nice but décor inside is much better. For indian places around this area this is the best!

Lunch buffet for 1195. Very flavorful dishes. Not overpower with butter like some other Indian place. Pro: tender, just right seasoned tandoori chicken, chewy Straight from the oven Nan bread top off with milk tea. Con: opens at 1130 kinda cut into the lunch hour.

I had this bookmarked for awhile since I have been craving Indian food. I finally got the chance to go last night and now I regret not going sooner. First off, the outside and location is kind of sketch, but don’t let that fool you! Once you enter the ghetto doors, it is like an Indian palace inside that is nice and clean. We ordered samosas to start, butter chicken, lamb curry(that our server recommended), rice and garlic naan. Everything was amazing, fresh and tasted like home cooking. Portion size was generous and allowed us to bring home leftovers(yay for lunch the next day). I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area. I came sort of late at almost 9 pm and the service was still great and everyone was really friendly, didn’t feel rushed especially since they were closing in an hour. I can’t wait to go back to try the lunch buffet.

Came here for a Sunday brunch. Comes with champagne! Eventhough the buffet was not a lot of meat choices(butter chicken, curry chicken and tandoori chicken, no mutton that I can see), they were all very flavorful. I also enjoyed the palak paneer, gulab jamun, samosa and fresh from the oven, garlic naan. My daughters ordered mango lassi and I was surprised that those were not charged extra. The buffet also include free flow of Indian tea with milk and let me tell you, that’s good quality tea, done right! Service was also excellent. Will come back for more.

Best Indian food in So Cal. If this is your first time trying it I suggest you come for champagne brunch on Sunday. You get to try the different food varieties and unlimited drinks. Brunch ends at 2:30pm.

Probably the best Indian food buffet I’ve ever been to. It puts to shame all the locations in the OC area. Their veggie korma and tikka masla is so rich and buttery I LOVEIT. They rotate some options throughout the week, but overall, I think their selection is pretty darn delicious. They had large pieces of shrimp that was incredibly flavorful, but I believe they only serve it once a week(Tuesday…I don’t remember). They sometimes have some very basic entrees like potato wedges and French fries, but I suppose it’s a nice break from all the intense spices you find in Indian cuisine. There is also an Indian version of milk tea on the far left of the buffet bar — I actually overlooked this the first few times I went. Don’t confuse it with the Taiwanese milk teas. It is very silky, but has no sugar. I still enjoy it a lot. There isn’t much else to say aside that their selection is what you expect from an Indian buffet, but they do it significantly better than their competitors. I highly recommend those in the area to come here for their Indian fix.

This place is delicious! One of the best Indian lunch buffets I’ve had in a long time! The outside of the restaurant is so plain that you cant tell how many customers they have and what the food looks like, but once you go inside its a whole different world. The décor inside makes you believe you’ve arrived in India. Beautiful! The lunch price during the weekend is $ 12 per person. Very reasonable price for a lunch buffet. The buffet line has a variety of main and side dishes, also has a small selection of desserts and drinks. The flavors of their dishes are so good! The butter chicken and their chicken curry hits the spot. Good to eat with rice or dipped with their nan! You must try their garlic nan and chili nan. Both are delicious! The chili nan has a spicy kick, definitely worth a try if you like spicy. Not a lot of people know about their chili nan because they serve the garlic nan as their basics. So ask for the chili nan! I stuffed my face so much during lunch it’s ridiculous. That’s how good this place is. We will be back soon!

Song Parody #554 Review 1,376 Unilocal 3652016 Review #29 5.132504051909041801708464766976 Stars If this place served no meat, no meat at all, I would still love it. Back in my old college days, I remember a Desi female, who was just as beautiful on the inside, as outside, talk about ways to flavor rice, bread, vegetables and more. The flavors, the flavors of the food were something to behold. The restaurant was off the Valley Blvd, but, it is worth finding. When you go inside, it is very cool, lots of shade, providing a relaxed lighting. The seating was comfortable and the table was very presentable. Indian television on the screens which I enjoyed. The servers were so friendly, always refilling our water, getting more Naan bread. I hope my co-workers left a big tip. The buffet line is lined with a series of trays, very clean, organized, the dishes labeled, including the drink and dessert station. The overall experience was 5 stars, considering the excellent price, I would say it is beyond 5 stars. Oh, and the food, the food is subjective, but I, as many have, found it to be amazing. Somosa Basmati Rice, reminded me of the best rice I have ever had Chicken Tika Masala, smooth buttery consistency Chicken Tandori wings looked so beautiful and had a gentle heat to them Naan was soft, had a nice crisp, the color was unbelievable. I wish I could have taken a box to go, and by box I mean an industrial size box. Lamb Curry was amazing, unfortunately for this dish, it sat next to so many amazing dishes, but it was great, nonetheless. Rice Pudding was the dessert we choose, we poured it on the Cardamom-covered cakes. Beautiful food, great experience, service was excellent, parking was not hard to find, yes, I will be back. Song parody of Prince’s 1992 song«The Most Beautiful Girl in the World» Could you be, the most beautiful dish in the world? So Desi, brings the loveliness inside your world Who needs steak, when I have my sweet Basmati Rice The Chicken, Tika Masala is delight And in time, the Chicken Tandori, is in my eye My eye Foodie joy, from how tender your Naan is inside Oh, oh-oh Could you be, the most beautiful dish in the world? Could you be? So Desi, brings the loveliness inside your world Oh, yes you are How can I, get through lunch after the buffet hours? I can try, but then I dream of what I will devour Oh yes Who’d allow, who’d allow a taste sexy and soft in hot flour Oh I bow down,(bow down) your Somosa has just so much power Oh yes, oh Could you be, the most beautiful dish in the world? Could you be? So Desi, brings the loveliness inside your world Oh, yes you are And if ratings, in reviews, ever went in decline I know mine, to you is, always a 5 Cause Unilocalers, this kind of deli, is a deli that you need to try Cause Unilocalers this kind of deli, it will leave you so satisfied Could you be,(could you be) the most beautiful dish in the world? This is my go-to Indian restaurant in the area, it’s soo good! The buffet is about $ 12 a person during the week(weekend is $ 14 but they include extra drinks) and they have all the basics; butter chicken, tandoori chicken, tikka masala, curry, samosas etc, and the BEST garlic naan straight from the oven. I love how they bring the naan to you once you are seated, instead of letting it hang out under heating lamps. Their complimentary chai milk tea is so delicious too! For the price and the quality of food, you really can’t go wrong! The ambiance is clean and big and the service is good, they are always on hand if you need a water refill, more naan, or new plates to hit the buffet again! :)

First time I came here, the waiter stared at me almost the whole time I was there. I think he thought he knew who I was and was wondering why I was acting so differently and why I didn’t say hello. Second time it happened again, only get this, either because she noticed the waiter staring at me like I was a celebrity or because she was thinking the same thing, lady next to us stared at me the whole time too. I have no idea what it was all about, and it wasn’t making me uncomfortable, so I got over it. Eventually, I think the waiter did too after a few trips. Service was spot on. Butter chicken(chicken makhani) is superb. Very delicious palak paneer. Malai kofta has a decent sauce but the dumplings were unpleasant at times. Their chicken is very good. One of the better places outside of Artesia.

Good Indian food in my hood! ;) Came here for dinner on a weekday and was seated promptly. Dishes were flavorful, although pretty pricey(about $ 13-$ 16 per dish). Prices also start to add up once you factor in naan(about $ 2.50 per order) and rice(about $ 2.95 per order). offers some coupons so that helps to ease the price a bit. My go-to dish is always the chicken tikka masala and this place did not disappoint. Pieces of chicken were tender and the curry was so creamy and flavorful. We also ordered the palak paneer(cheese curds) and shrimp saag. I wish that the items on the menu could be more informatively labeled/described, since we wouldn’t have ordered both of those dishes(palak paneer/saag) because they both consisted of the same spinach-like curry. I had really high expectations for the garlic naan, but was somewhat disappointed. Although the naan was fluffy and in large portions, it didn’t have enough garlic flavor for me. Overall, decent food for the area and would definitely return if I’m craving Indian food. Will probably try to come for the lunch buffet one day!

Dheli Palace!!! Why must you mess with my emotions!!! I heard so much good things about you, that I couldn’t wait till it was my turn to try Delhi Palace. Then I finally got the text message I’ve been longing to receive: «meet up at Delhi Palace at 7PM for a early friendsgiving dinner.‘ So as soon as I got off work, I booked it from Long Beach to La Puente. Luckily there was no traffic on the freeway because of the holiday, so I knew this meeting with Dehli Palace was meant to be! Food: Ordered a bunch of Garlic Naan, Palek Paneer with Rice, the Mixed Grilled Plate, chicken tikka masala, and the Butter Chicken. Zomgosh the food was so tasty. I’ve been thinking about those chicken dishes for a few weeks now! Not sure if we ordered multiple dishes because we were still hungry or because we didn’t the flavor in our mouth to end, but by the end of dinner I was definitely satisfied and was able to grub down on some Krispy Kreme donuts after. lol. And here is the part where you mess with my emotions Delhi Palace: Yesterday I received the second text message i’ve been longing to receive: «Delhi Palace at 12:30PM» And this time I booked it from Torrance to La Puente. And as soon as I got there, my friends were already waiting in the parking lot. They seemed a bit disappointed, so I gave them a thumbs up from inside my car because we were about to have Delhi Palace! .And simultaneously they all gave me a thumbs down! Then they broke the news to me… Delhi Palace was closed for a catering party or something. And I found out that they close on random days without warning or a answering machine saying they will be closed for the day. Sorry Ding and Charlie! You’ll just have to trust us when we say the food is bomb! They’ve been trying multiple times to go to Delhi Palace and they have been closed. We are thinking of getting the number for the liquor store next door, so they can see if they are open or closed for us. lol. But anyways Delhi Palace. I will not forget how the Chicken dishes changed my life. And I will continue to be a fan. But I don’t know how many more unexpected closures I can take until I will need some counseling. Hopefully our next trip to Delhi Palace will have a happy ending. lol.

One of the only Indian food places in the area and has lunch buffet for about $ 11. Some of the items on the menu changes daily and some are the same, but usually everything is delicious. It doesn’t get too busy during lunch time and you will easily be seated and can start grubbing right away! Be prepared to eat a very heavy meal! Sometimes, it’s hard for me to stop eating because the butter chicken is so good paired with the garlic naan, but I think I may have to limit my visits here to be conscious of my health *insert heavy breathing noise*. They do have a salad option in the menu and some fruits for dessert :) It’s a private lot so plenty of parking. Staff is not tooooo friendly(hardly smiles or greets you) however they are attentive and comes by to refill water and our order of naan frequently. For this reason, I give a 4⁄5! TIP: If you are an employee at Newegg, show them your badge for 10% off! ;)

How have I not known about this place?! My friends decided on this place for their bday lunches and I was already super excited after seeing all the pictures on Unilocal. The lunch buffet is such a great deal at under $ 12 per person. My favorites were the butter chicken, chicken curry, paneer masala(spinach and cheese), and of course the garlic naan. The naan was hot with a crisp exterior and a soft pillowy center which is made to order and brought to your table. They also have several dipping sauces on the end of the buffet. I really enjoyed the green one that was made from various mint and herbs i think, this was minty and mildly spicy but so refreshing against the creaminess of the curries. The dark brown one was a tamarind sauce, which was tangy and sweet. If you want something cooling, try the yogurt one. They also offer complimentary chai milk tea at the buffet counter. You add your own sugar to taste. I’m really happy to have found a indian lunch buffet around my work. We’ll definitely be back again! Thanks for bringing us here Connie and Helen!

If you’ve got a mean craving for Indian food and you happen to be in La Puente… this is THE place to be! It very well may be, in fact, the ONLY place to be… well, because you’re looking for Indian food in La Puente and that’s just plain weird, so yeah. GARLICNAAN Excellent garlic naan! Gotta be careful not to eat too much so you can sample all the other great items. The even let me take some home even though its buffet AYCE style. SAMPLER Butter chicken, samosas, tandoori chicken, tikka masala, basmati rice, lamb masala, hell, even spinach and other veggies which were actually pretty damn good! Did I mention you can go back for seconds and thirds and fifths if you’re starving and/or shameless like me for ONLYTWELVEBUCKS??? Sign my shameless ass up.
