My entire family have been patients of Dr. Bub and Dr. Lee for almost 20 years and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. They genuinely care about their patients and strive to give them the best and most up to date treatments available.
In addition to excellent medical care, they diligently work with your insurance company to make sure you received the maximum benefits allowed on your policy. Our family has had several different carriers over the years and Dr. Bub and Dr. Lee have always worked with us, no matter what level of coverage we had.
I can’t recommend them highly enough. I have referred many people their office and each one has told me of the quality care they received. I promise you won’t find better optometrists anywhere.

Our family’s visit was great! The receptionist was friendly. The building is beautiful. Dr Lee & Dr Bub were friendly, patient, & knowledgeable. They treated my kids with genuine concern to their questions. They were thorough with the exams. Very helpful picking out frames. Both doctors are soft spoken, which makes for a very pleasant appointment.
Our glasses were projected to come in within ten business days but were received the within 4! Dr Lee had changed my rx from what I had normally been prescribed and these are, by far, the best prescription I’ve had! We highly recommend this practice and are very excited they made the move to La Porte!

Upon my first visit, I had to fill out the requisite documents, including acknowledgment of receiving the privacy policy as required by HIPPA laws. The only one they could put in my hand was the one on the wall. The doctor took it down for me to read. After I read it, I realized why they did not have one readily available.
The Sharp Eyes privacy policy has to be the most liberal I have ever read in a health care facility. I found very few times when health information would be withheld. There is even a line removing them from responsibility for «incidental» releases without the patient’s permission.
When I mentioned my concerns with the policy, the receptionist said «sorry» and went on to other duties.
As someone who HAS had their identification stolen, I take privacy policies very seriously. When a business, such as a health care provider, shows blatant disregard for a prospective patient’s privacy concerns, I don’t use that provider.
