Holiday Inn Express & Suites La Porte

La Porte is a small town and it was just a pit stop before our cruise. The hotel was clean and the staff was so friendly. Especially Mandy. She got us a transfer to the boat, no hassle. If you want great food, stop in at Main 101. Great start to our vacation.

Excellent service, clean, with an attentive and friendly staff. HEI are usually a good value and they are my bed of choice, this one is in a location which one might expect less than the standard. You would be wrong, everything about this HEI is tops. Good location, quality dining within reach, outstanding staff and a great place to stay.

Absolutely fantastic. The staff was amazing and the hotel was clean and inviting. The staff called me at least once a day to make sure my stay was going well. 5 star hotels don’t make the effort this hotel’s staff made to make sure I was comfortable. If you need to stay down in La Porte or Pasadena, stay here.

Leave it to me to mess up my own reservations. However, the front desk associate, although still in training, was able to straighten me out with little efforts.

Very nice hotel. One elevator for four floors, but if the place isn’t filled with 8 year old girls/​parents/​siblings like it was when we stayed, the wait should be OK. Use the stairs if not.
The staff is so helpful, the hotel seems to have the guest’s best stay as their mission. The breakfasts are pretty good, a wide variety to choose from. The microwaved cheese omlette was not so good, but overall, the best hotel breakfast (at the price) I’ve seen.

Great property. Remote and isolated just outside of the small town of La Porte. Not alot in the area, but definitely get some restful and quiet sleep.
Staff is very helpful and friendly. I came off of a flight and didn’t feel like going out and they had delivery menus for me and made recommendations.

This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express properties I have stayed at. The hotel appears to be pretty new. The room was nice, had nice furniture, a cold A/​C, a huge flat screen TV, good strong wifi connection, and a very comfortable bed/​pillows.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is so — so. It is as good as any other Holiday Inn Express breakfast. Nothing to write home about, but that’s how free breakfasts go.

I had a horrible experience at the Holiday Inn in Kemah but since I do business in this area a lot, I had to find a hotel that suited my needs.
Upon checking in, I met the owner of this Holiday Inn Express in La Porte. He was kind and hospitable. A short time after I checked in, he called up to my room to make sure everything was to my liking. That was the first time I have ever had a hotel much less the owner contact me to double check I was ok and has everything I needed.
The room is large, king bed, 42″ tv, couch, dining table, desk, fridge and micro! All the necessities a traveling girl like me needs.
I spend a week at a time traveling and have been doing this weekly since March. This hotel has already made me feel more at home than any other hotel in Texas has and for that, I thank you.

Nice place. Room was clean, and the staff was nice and helpful. The pancakes were good. The biscuits were like bricks.
