I bought chicken ant this location last night and it was the best KFC chicken I have aver had! Tell the cook not to change a thing! Well done!

TERRIBLE! There is so much wrong with this location. It looks OK from the outside (I’ve never been inside). The staff is always disorganized and rude. They act like they’re doing you a favor to repeat your order back to you. I have also NEVER had an order filled correctly here. NEVER — and we’ve been at least 5 times. I’ve also received cold food at this location.

Another KFC along the highway of life, this one in La Plata, Maryland in the blight strip on Route 301.
Son and I are making our annual trek to Newport News, Virginia to be with family for New Year’s Eve. Amazing how much has developed along this stretch of road over the years! KFC is but one of dozens of fast food alternatives crowding the once rural landscape.
The offerings are well known and vary little from one shop to another. This is a good thing if you like what they are putting out. We do. I ordered the $ 5 One Piece Special — Original Recipe. That’s a Breast with a side dish and a Biscuit. It was just enough for a light meal to tide me over for the remaining 3 hour drive knowing a dinner was awaiting us. I liked it and appreciated the pricing.
Son asked for and secured an order of Honey BBQ Wings. Upon opening the box, he found 7 rather than the stated 5 wings. He was pleased, and proceeded to suck the bones dry, leaving ample evidence of the carnage all over his face. 5 napkin job.
Every ‘rant should deliver more than they promise. What a happy world it would be!
