Room 132 extreme mold & mildew, but hotel comping us for the night. Manage Pam and Annie are all stars in customer service. Moving on up to 3rd floor. Pam I love it here, just need those Gator beads. Happy Mardi Gras, see you next year!

No bugs, lol(see previous comment) Nice, clean, comfy bed, quiet, kitchenette(granite countertops), and a casino in walking distance… The pool is clean people! The prices are reasonable and they offer a military discount! FYI-they do have a jacuzZi suite, if interested. Front desk staff– friendly and good customer service… No complaints here! Don’t just pass the place by because the name isn’t familiar! Great stay, highly recommend!

The hotel was clean, quiet, and very spacious. I saw on my way out the fitness room, it looked up to date and clean as well. The jacuzzi suite we stayed in had a full fridge, sink, stove top, and toaster, and stocked with a couple of plates and silverware. The jacuzzi was bigger than I expected, and made us feel like kings and queens of the interstate exit in La Place. It helped kick off our Fourth of July vacation weekend. A review below had me nervous, stating that there were bugs everywhere at this hotel. I did not encounter any bugs in the hotel during my stay. There was only two kinds of toiletries items in the bathroom-a generic bar of soap for face and body, and a bottle labeled«conditioning shampoo” — so, don’t leave it up to chance, go ahead and bring your own soap and shampoo. I also like how they will do a late check out as late as 2pm, we did not need it, but that’s nice for those who want to sleep in. There’s a gas station/truck stop across the street with plenty of beer options, casino, and restaurant for the party animals out there.

Didn’t know what to expect when we booked this place; had a family event in New Orleans to attend. We needed a room the same weekend of one of New Orleans biggest events, Essence fest. All the Hotels in the city were booked. We found the Suburban Extended Stay in La Place. When we arrived the staff was friendly the rooms were clean with modern amenities. The fitness center was fully stocked machines free weights, treadmills, flat screens… The pool was clean and fresh baked cookies everyday, I would definitely recommend this place to people visiting New Orleans when the city is sold out since La Place is about 30 min out side the city.
