Dealing with this company has been one of the worst sales/​service product experience I’ve had in my life!
First of all their product is very expensive! So when I placed an order for heavy duty rack/​shelving and paid a premium for it — I expected the product to live up to its price. Essentially what they supplied was contrary to the product photo on their website and images/​parts in assembly manual. We got a racking unit with double rivet beams for top and bottom of the unit and single rivets for the shelves in between. (The images portray double rivets throughout). When we assembled the 8′ Unit — it was ready to topple over on us — and that was without stacking any boxes on it yet. We built 1 up using just the double rivet beams and it was as sturdy as a cage.
I called their customer service department to ask why they would supply an 8′ rack with single rivet beams making it totally unsafe when assembled; and also asked to know why the assembly manual and web images only show the product with double rivet’s… They HUNG UP on me! — Yes they really did.
So if you’re in the market for shelving/​racking look up another company global industrial who have been amazing at helping me source the right beams to correct the sloppy/​floppy structure these guys supplied AND they are much cheaper. Lowes also stock a 6′ off the shelf racking system that is incredibly sturdy (double rivets) and they’re product is less than ½ the price of buy-​rack. Avoid dealing with this over priced, incredibly rude business at all costs!
