WaBa Grill

Food is always good here and the portion is good for the price. They always let me substitute the salad for vegetables which is good for me. As previous review say, the service isn’t always the nicest but does the job when I go in as I always get it to go. Sometimes the service is great though so it depends on the employee for sure. We will definitely come back.

Bad customer service. The girl who took my order said only one thing «that will be $ 18.54» not hello, bye, go f yourself. She was cold as ice. Food was good, but I don’t understand the Kale salad. Is there supposed to be something on it? Lemon or dressing? It was just a pile of kale. I didn’t get it? I ended up putting ranch on it cause I didn’t have anything else. Kinda defeated the purpose of it really. In a nutshell, come here for the food not the service.

I continue to come here and the food and service keeps getting better… I have noticed that the employees are young but they seem to know what they are doing. Good management.

I decided to try this since i been told that it beats flame broiler. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by many Hellos, which was great after having a long day at work. The girl who took my order Frida was very nice and helpful since it was my first time here. At the end i ordered a Chicken Steak Plate Brown Rice no salad with only broccoli. It was delicious, would totally recommend to a friend. The cook (a tall young caucasian male) took the order out fast and there was no wait.

I have been a loyal customer for about a year now, and I have to say WaBa Grill is my go-​to restaurant if I ever want to eat out. Not only is the food absolutely delicious and well made, it is a reliable, healthier alternative to other «fast food» restaurants. If there was one thing I’d have to complain about, it would be the price: the food is a bit pricey, but personally I think it is well worth your money.

Love Waba grill… Love the Tofu bowl and huge fan of the chicken kale salad. Staff are friendly, I am definitely a regular here, they know my order and prepare it just the way I request… Light brush no sauce !!! lol Thank you guys

Great food! Portion size is good. Price is expensive but worth it. You can substitute most items. Waba sauce and shrimp is a must try.
Nice clean location. Well it’s brand new so it should be. No bathroom but other than that it’s great!

I had the chicken salad with avocado and it came out to $ 11.11 I don’t mind paying that amount but it was the worst salad I have ever had the chicken was dry the greens were un edible and the ranch dressing had no flavor over all to expensive for a shitty salad I won’t be back

This is my favorite waba grill. The young lady that works there (Sule) was so kind to pick up my trash!
Friendly and healthy

Updating this review based on not just the food, also based on witnessing some bad customer service from this lady Sule. I’ve watched her the whole time I was eating my lunch not showing any care whatsoever. If she doesn’t care about the customers or even her job, then why is she working here? Definitely not WaBa Grill material.
The food here is still good, but it’s not the same without Lauren (who used to work here) as she was the best employee at this particular location. However, the other employee I forgot her name who took the order from me was nice and know what customer service is about.
I was going to hold off updating the review ’til after the next time, but that little fiasco from yesterday was enough to lower my rating to 3 stars. I won’t be going back to this store ’til further notice.

Seating area smells like a dirty wash rag. Tables not clean and floors not swept or mopped.
And to top it off the AC is not on during the hottest day of the weekend (86 degrees?!)
Plenty if workers here. Don’t think they can say their under staffed

This Waba Grill is bomb. I work really close by, so I eat here embarrassingly often. The lobby is always super clean, and the staff is super helpful. Jesus and Angeline are awesome!

The management at this place has definitely gotten comfortable and no longer cares about quality. The food is not up to the same standards as it was when it first opened. Ordered a steak plate and the salad was way less than half a serving and really soggy. The steak was way overcooked. No to mention the fruit side was only 2 very thin sliced pieces of cantaloupe with no flavor. Definitely won’t be visiting this place anytime soon.

I’m impressed! I had a friend recommend this place to me and it’s awesome. The menu is concise and easy to order from. The service is super fast and friendly. The good was good as well as the Waba sauce. When you get a side of avocado, you literally get half of an avocado. Only thing I marked a star down for was that if you don’t order white meat chicken, you get a lot of chicken fat which I don’t like to eat it’s gross. I will definitely come back here though!

I ordered the salmon plate Togo, they were prompt and helpful. Order was ready did pick after 5 mins call in. Nice !!!
The salmon was a bit small compare to other places. They gave cantaloupe for fruit. No Bueno, they were seed on my fruit. At least I hope it’s seed and not something else.

Waba Grill is located close to Bank Of America and Walmart. It was my first time here and I was getting something for me and my parents. I was looking at the menu and deciding to get a Half and half bowl with brown rice and had asked what a half and half is. So a half and half is half chicken and half beef. I decided to get that for me and my mom to share and my dad would get a steak bowl.
I thought the rice was pretty good but the steak and and chicken wasn’t really my liking per say. I think it is alright for something quick to eat but to me the flavor wasn’t there. I liked the chili sauce though but not so much the teriyaki sauce that they put on it standard. So I think if I did end up eating here I would just tell them not to put any sauce in the bowl.

This is an attractive new location that is actually close to my house. The food is good like it has been at other locations. The problem is that there is no toilet facility even though there is seating for about 20 people inside and 20 people outside. I also did not see a sign to this effect as required by Health and Safety Code section 114 276.
Why does this matter? Well, I had been trying to recommend this location to my mom and her friends. If they were to sit down and eat, they might have to use the restroom in the middle of a meal which would require walking down to Walmart along side everyone else in the restaurant. If my mom came by herself, would her food stay at we table? Would it be thrown away? For now I will have to recommend that people in the area avoid it for this reason. Or go to Walmart first.
The franchise owner may want to spend their days there looking for any older, slow moving or disabled customers. He may want to get to know them real well, inform them of the situation, and watch their food while they walk to the restroom, etc. I am surprised I had to find this out from the minimum wage person at the counter since there was no sign on the door. Or maybe they might consider a food truck…

I wouldn’t normally review a place like this but the employees did such a good job (thought I was getting sit down restaurant service) and were so quick even though it was really busy (lunch time).
I would definitely go out of my way to come to this Waba grill.

Went here a few nights ago for the first time after searching «healthy» food in my area. It was toward closing time, so the staff was getting ready to close up shop, but still happy to serve me and my friend.
Delicious. Hands down. I had the Half-​Half Veggie Bowl. NOM NOM NOM.
Overall it has the same concept as Flame Broiler [which I also like (but now having tried Waba Grill, I’d opt for Waba)], but has bigger portions and more menu options: salmon and shrimp. The beef is also more flavorful than Flame Broiler’s.
Prices are a bit more than FB’s, but that’s to be expected with their offerings.
Will definitely come back.

I had never tried WabaGrill until this location opened up near my house. It worked out perfectly as our kitchen was being remodeled, my family and I were forced to eat out. Being very health conscious we mainly ate at El Pollo Loco and decided to give this place a try.
Let’s just say that I’m a regular now coming at least 5x a week. I’ve tried everything on the menu and it is all D-​licious and HEALTHY! You can’t go wrong
My favorite is the chicken veggie bowl with brown rice, green onions and avocado on top ($ 8.24). This will fill you up and is well priced.
The staff here is amazing and everyone is really well mannered and friendly, always seeming to have a genuine smile.
One employee who always seems to stand out is Kevin. This guy will give you the best radical customer experience you have ever had at a food joint. He’s always well groomed, proper, knowledgeable and most importantly very personable.
