Momo Spa

Dude, this place is closed. Too bad I never had the chance to find out what it was like. Seeing that there were all good reviews here, and it wasn’t open more than a year, I guess they couldn’t stay open because they got behind on their rent. Or maybe the owners had to go back to Korea.

This is a cozy women’s spa and the owner is super sweet!!! Great if you’re in the neighborhood and want to relax a bit!

Omg! I’ve been looking for a sitz bath in my area and couldn’t find but i happen to visit a friend in orange county and was excited to find korean spa with sitz bath! Too bad i have to leave so soon but will definitely be back at momo spa when i visit oc. I love their sitz bath! Spa is clean cozy and its women only. Great price great customer service.

Pros: 1. Women only.
2. Rain bath type shower heads. (They have both standing and sitting style showers).
3. A private area for body scrubs. (Other places I have been to have their body scrub areas more out in the open)
4. They provide robes. (No weird pj type things).
5. Hip bath treatment. (I haven’t seen this at any other spas before)
6. Super nice staff. (They take the time to talk and get to know you)
7. Clean and up to date facilities.
I’m not Korean and am always a little hesitant about being totally naked in front of strangers, but it gets a little easier each time. The people here make you feel welcomed and it is a much more calmer atmosphere than other Korean spas that I have been to. If you are new to the Korean spa experience and a woman… Give this place a try. Let them know that you are new to the jimjilbang thing and they will be very accommodating.
The only con that I saw that due to the size that they do not have rooms like a red ball clay room, but it is ok because of the women only type of atmosphere.
