There for the first time last night 2÷4÷2016. Only a few people there so didn’t know if we should try it. I am giving two stars because the service was good otherwise, it would be one star. The chicken dish was just ok but the beef and broccoli and egg foo young were both terrible. They charge $ 2.50 for a small soda and then do not give refills without paying another $ 2.50. Haven’t had that happen in decades. Would not go back or refer anyone to this restaurant.

Went here 4 years ago and had a great lunch, I was new to the area and forgot where it was. I found it again and was excited to have dinner there remembering just how good it was. Tonight it sucked! The cashew chicken, where’s the chicken? The sweet n sour pork was overlooked and very dry. The rice? Well, mush comes to mind. The service was so slow my dead grandma could do a better job. I don’t think I want to try them again, and it wasn’t that busy.

Favorite place since I was young!!! Theyre now our family friends after years of eating here. Always stop by here!!! My favorite is the chicken fried rice, both soups, sweet and sour chicken, honey walnut shrimp, crispy chicken… So much goodness. Theyll also let you know what people don’t like. If you order a ton of food to go theyll have it ready in no time in a big box. Theyre so sweet and I love their service.

I really don’t get the 5 stars. I ordered the honey crispy chicken and Kung Pao chicken thinking you can’t go wrong… greasy, cold, and the spices were all wrong made me wonder if they were holding a cooking challenge for amateurs in the kitchen. The chicken was not fresh and it tasted like the dishes had been reheated rather than made to order. Cigarette smoke spilled over from the bar into the restaurant. Needless to say my $ 40 could have been better spent elsewhere. The two stars are for not getting food poisoning.

To give this place anything less then five stars would just be silly. They WOWED me they served us so much good food for such a great price we ended up bringing half of it home for lunch the next day Service was amazing. Drinks were great recommend trying the scorpion it was good plus my kids got a kick out of the flames in the center of it. My only regret is I didn’t try this place sooner considering the fact it’s right down the street from our shop. In addition to that I took some of the staff from Westside automotive to have steak and eggs this past Sunday at there bar it also was amazing this place definitely deserves five stars great value for great the food.

The food here is great. I have yet to order anything that I haven’t loved. I believe its Sundays they do a steak and egg breakfast for 10 $ and it is also amazing. The dragon room is also a huge plus to the restaurant. It’s the bar connected to the restaurant. Drinks are priced low and made well. BRI always makes a good drink.

Our first time getting there, but first we were confused: where is the entrance? Ah, its in the middle between restaurant and pool bar. Pull the door, go to left. Hehehe. Ordered beef and shrimp fried rice. Delicious but a bit salty. Waitress is friendly.

Delicious!!! The staff are very nice and professional. The food was delicious and we have leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. There’s a karaōke bar next door that looks like fun, but we didn’t have time for it. This place deserves way more three stars.

I love Wongs… the sweet pungent shrimp is to die for. They have chicken wings that I call… Terradactyl wings because they a real so big the look like Turkey size… lol. Flintstones style. The sizzling rice soup is amazing. I love their egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. Sunday am you can get a steak and eggs breakfast. grilled on the barbeque for 7.00 $ Their fried rice is amazing… I get shrimp fried all by the time. have them make it spicy… ask Mae Ling the server… she will get dishes personalized for u… Tip her. well…she’s an amazing dedicated server…

I have to say the night started off good but ended as soon as it started. All I wanted was to replace one item in one of the entrees and i was told no. I even asked to pay more and was told no. So I picked another dinner entrée, to once again be told no because I could not order a single entrée it had to be 2. So with a quick glance at the menu and I saw that 75% of the dinners say(NOSINGLEORDER). At this point I am pissed and so I order the same thing my wife got. If you like food that looks and tastes 2 days old and the sauces that are on everything look more like old oil from your car, then go. If you desire good chinese food then DONOTGOHERE. I will say this if you want a good burger then go here my son’s hamburger was actually really good(BUTHELLOTHISIS A CHINESERESTAURANT) lol… anyway good luck. PS. THEYDONOTHAVE Sriracha what the hell? How can you even say your chinese without having Sriracha.

The first indicator to the fact that you are about to eat some nasty Chinese food? There are no Asian people eating it. Wong’s Golden Palace was a horrible experience. Where do I start? Okay. Upon arrival, we(my wife and I) were confused about how to gain access to the restaurant. She soon figured it out, and we went in. Once actually inside the place, my hopes of eating delicious, greasy Chinese food began to dwindle. The atmosphere was very dated, and dank. It looked and smelled stale, and I almost didn’t want to stay, but this was our third or fourth attempt at finding a place that served Egg Foo Yung. It was going to be all, or nothing. We sat down, and ordered. My wife ordered the Shrimp Fried Rice, soup and tea. I asked for Egg Foo Yung and some soup. We were both immediately unimpressed with the soup. I was able to make it bearable by bombarding it with a ton of those little fried noodles. Next came our entrees. My wife’s fried rice looked passable, and it wasn’t a bad portion size, however, I was mortified at the sight of my dinner. What was expected to be one or two grandiose fried eggs, with vegetables, and shrimp inside, instead looked like Encore 2lb. Family Size Salisbury Steaks and gravy. The little egg patties seemed leathery. The gravy was very translucent and weird looking. On top of everything, the shrimp were served aside from the eggs. I tried not to judge that book, but my intuition was correct. It tasted horrible. I had to settle for sharing my wife’s food. I asked for chopsticks. I asked for a plate. I had to get up to get each item on my own. As for the Egg Foo Yuck, I sent it back. There was nothing else that could have been done. And a word of caution; if you ever find yourself in a situation that requires you to return food, simply order another dish, then send back the bad one, once you are sure that you won’t be ordering anything else. They offered to make me something else, but I was done. No way. The shrimp that I ate their was so old, and neglected that the texture was similar to what I would imagine to be the consistency fecal matter. I HAVENOTEATENSHRIMPSINCETHISEXPERIENCE, AND I HAVESWORNTHEMOFFFORLIFE. I SWEARTOGOD. DONOTEATATTHISRESTAURANT, UNLESSYOUHATEYOURSELFANDYOURCOMPANION(S).

When the truth is, I miss you Yeah, the truth is, that I miss you so And I’m tired, I should not have let you go Coldplay — Warning Sign I visited this place once with the girlfriend back when she lived in La Mesa. It was years ago when we first started dating and this place was near her apartment. Looks the same with the cool Chinese style lamps, the bright colors… Reminds me of Chinese restaurants from when I was a little kid. :-) There is one thing here I have never seen anywhere else. The chicken liver chow mein. I have loved chicken liver and chow mein since I was a little kid but never had the 2 together before. The mix of flavors was really delicious. The chef was very generous with the chicken liver. :-) I have made chicken liver ramen on occasion and the texture of the noodles is similar to ramen but the flavor was a different. The won ton soup had all pork won tons which had a very tasty flavor. The broth was good. The char sui was lean and had good flavor. It would have been very good but I suspect the soup stole some of the flavor. It’s $ 3.50 for a small bowl with 2 won tons or $ 7 for a big bowl with 8. The very helpful waitress highly recommended the large bowl. Salt and pepper wings. Mmm… Msg. :-) Really crispy skin and good flavor. Very similar to Golden Chopsticks but not quite as good. Excellent friendly service from the waitress.

Old food on glass! The knifes and fork’s had an dishwasher grime, the rice was blan, the soup was tasty but warm, the palace is worn down, the tables had old wipe down with a dirty cloth blues and the fixtures are old and tired. their was an couple sitting next to me at a table and when I told her about the dirty glass she found plastic with a bar code on it in her food, this is the place to be if you are drunk and full of alcohol.
