Whispering Winds Catholic Camp

The camp itself is just south of Julian, CA. I just spent this last weekend there with my wife and two kids. The camp staff, Child Care Assistants (CCAs), and the facilities are a true blessing to all who participate. There is a multitude of accommodations: lodges, tee-​pees, tent camping. They also have space for RVs, fifth wheels, and pop-​ups.. Our family pitched a tent since we like the idea of «roughing it» as much as possible. There are ample bathroom facilities throughout the camp. What truly matters isn’t the facilities, it’s the people. The theme for this year’s camp was «The Sky’s the Limit». Every worship activity was centered around that theme. I could go on and on, but I just want to say that you can’t go wrong spending time with a couple hundred faithful followers in a beautiful location. Ok, one more thing. Celebrating Mass is always awesome. Try celebrating outdoors in Mary’s Grotto! Now that is seriously inspiring.
