Bought some finishing salt here– unbelievable flavor added to my meals. This place also has a great selection of dinner and cooking wear. A fantastic kitchen boutique!!!

The Swedish Chef is the store mascot — he he! Yes! I like what reviewer, Mercy B. said. The owner Frank, really put together a one-of-a-kind dinnerware boutique! I had the pleasure of meeting Frank today and he’s a delight! This shop is full of unique, inspiring, and useful accessories and tabletop items. I would be proud to give the items as gifts or use them in my own home. I’m happy to have What A Dish! in our little village of La Mesa. Looking forward to visiting again :)

The owner Frank, has really put together a one of a kind shop here in the cute little La Mesa Village area. I have always loved vintage and new Fiestaware and he has a wonderful selection of new FW, along with some faboo kitchen related items from around the world. The animal creamers are too cute, the bread boards with hidden knives in them are so unique, and the aprons are so cool and handmade by one of his friends. This is a perfect wedding registry shop, or if you are just searching for those one of a kind or something different gifts for a friend, ya gotta check it out. Hey, you gotta just go in there and find something for your own place too! My goal is to have a set of red FW dishes for my own use. I’m still using a broken up set of dinner ware from when i got married in the 70’s! I can go in there and he has every color under or over the rainbow! SO many cute things to choose from, I’ll keep going back again and again…
