Got a pedicure. Amy gave me a superb massage. I am on my feet all day long. Felt very relaxed. She took her time to do an excellent job. This is my first time here. I will be back I am back exactly one month later. I had an appointment at 12 they told me she was running late which was ok, it happens but it ended up 50 minutes late. I am giving it one more chance. Next time I will ask to call me if they are running late.

Quite a beautiful, dainty nail salon in my opinion. They have a wide variety of nail colors and recently even the newer gel kinds, which is amazing if you want healthier nails. The prices are also super affordable and the owner is really kind and friendly. She usually has one or two employees with her that usually don’t speak much English, but the one guy she has now has great English. Never had any problems with the service and they take care of you very well. My nails always come in there ugly and come out very beautiful by the time I get out.

I made an appointment with Vicki and, every time, I show up she gives me to her help which are terrible at doing nails, even though I schedule with her. Vicki is not that good herself and I have waited up to two hours at times and she has never taken me when planned. Her scheduling is poor as she takes on to many walk-ins. She treats her employees unfairly and takes their money and clients so they can’t build a clientele; therefore, even if they are great, they leave. I would not go back there as it is a disappointment in quality of nails, honesty and time management. Trust me.

The woman here were so sweet! My nails were done beautifully both pedicure and full gel set look amazing. This is definitely not the largest or most luxurious shop I’ve been to but the quality cleanliness and overall comfort of the place makes it well worth it! I will definitely be coming back!

Vicki is amazing. The quality of work and product(nail polish) are top notch, and her prices are extremely affordable. Vicki herself is as sweet as they come. She owns this shop by herself and usually only has one other employee helping out so be advised and make sure you ALWAYS call ahead to make an appointment. Also, bring cash. Cash only. Fan and customer for life!

By far the best place I have ever had my nails done. I’m not a regular but I get my nails done before special occasions. Every time I go in they treat me like I come every week. They know my name and are always very friendly and courteous. My nails are always perfect and the massaging pedicure is awesome. Never rushed like most places I used to go. Price is a great value for the quality of the service. Highly recommend this place!

Love Vicky. Great shop, sometimes a wait, but have never had an issue with the service or outcome. Always a friendly attitude, I just wish more of her employees spoke English.

The owner is SO sweet and accommodating. They always do a fantastic job on my pedicures, plus the leg massages are nice! Sometimes there is a bit of a wait because it gets filled up, but I have never had a wait if I have a scheduled appointment. I won’t go anywhere else!

I’ve been going to Vicky’s for the past 3 years, loved the place and recommended it to all of my friends, however, lately I started getting disappointed in how long i had to wait. 2 months ago i made an appointment for a pedicure and a fill for 3 o’clock. Got there at 2:50 and was asked to come back at 3:45, because it was«too busy». Luckily, I live close by, so I didn’t think much of it and came back at 3:40. Ended up waiting for an hour, then they did my pedicure, then I was asked to wait another hour and a half until they could start my fill. That day I ended up being in the salon for 4 hours 20 minutes. So next time I went to a different place. However, after, I felt bad, since I’ve been going to Vicky’s for years and decided to give her another chance. Made an appointment for 3:15 and specified that I want Vicky to do my nails. Ended up waiting until 4:30 and throughout my wait time, Vicky tried to say that she was too busy and maybe i’m better off coming another day. I reminded her that I had an appointment and proceeded to wait.(I only needed 2 nails fixed — 15 minute procedure). She ended up having another lady do my nails, since Vicky didn’t have time for me. The other lady had no idea what she was doing. She piled the acrylic on top of my nails in lumps without spreading it, she knew she messed up, but instead of taking it off and redoing it, she kept piling it up. When I had what felt and looked like a pound of acrylic on my nail, I stopped her and went to Vicky to show her the horrible job her associate did, Vicky said it looked fine. The lady tried to file it off, but it was way too much. The two nails that I got fixed look like crap and completely don’t match the rest of my nails. I regret paying and will never ever go there again. Its said that a person who started off with such a successful business, would compromise quality for quantity and loose customers like that.

It was quite a different experience than what I thought I was going to have. The people here are very friendly and nice. And the atmosphere is comfortable. But I will not come here again, they hacked up my cuticles and made me bleed. Both my manicure and pedicure. And she also poured alcohol on the cuts. None the less, I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could as well. I’m also use to people talking to me and to ensure my trust in them while they do the service. I didn’t get any of that here.

Hands down best nail experience I have had in San Diego(I’m a pretty picky nail person). I was welcomed the moment I walked in the door and tended to quickly. The vibe in the salon was awesome — very small and comfortable and the ladies new all the clients by name. Vicki did my nails just as I had requested — natural looking acrylics — and checked with me multiple times to be sure they were coming out as I wanted. She was very friendly, NEVER pressured me to upgrade to any additional services or pedicure, and spoke perfectly clear English. The other ladies, as well, were all speaking English and VERY friendly to the customers and also to me. When it came time to pay, I was AMAZED by how inexpensive the total was! I left VIcki’s salon with beautiful nails and knowing that every time I go back, they will know me by name and treat me like a friend. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!

I have been going there for about four years for pedicures. 2 weeks ago I asked to have gel nails done. My tips were glued on crooked and instead of going with the natural shape of my nails(my nails slope down) these were sloped upwards! The man did not shape them after cutting them down to the appropriate size I asked. Also the guy cut almost all my cuticles and half of my fingers were bleeding badly! When I complained at how badly they looked Vicki apologized and said she would fix them if I would wait. I did. This is when I found out I had not gotten gels that I thought I got. I had acrylics! I was so pissed! I asked to have them removed and Vicki broke out the electric file and proceeded to file away all the acrylic. I was not expecting to have everything filed off. I was expecting to have them soaked off in acetone. Needless to say my fingers were sore for the next week. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

I write this review with a heavy heart because I had two really good experiences here. HOWEVER, today was a nightmare. I was having a manicure and pedicure. The woman doing my manicure had no idea what she was doing… none what so ever. She clipped some of my nails handed me my hand and asked what I thought. I almost started to cry. They were uneven and shorter than I ever have them. Because she spoke zero English I was not able to tell her what was wrong. The woman who was doing my pedicure saw my face and took over, but then gave me back to the incompetent woman. While she was working my cuticles she actually hurt me and caused bleeding, then poured ALCOHOL on it. That was it, I was having a bad day. I did not let her finish with nail polish and just wanted to get the hell out of there. BEWARE. they used to be really good, but not anymore. I seriously question whether she was even licensed.
