Palm Springs Liquor

We were looking for a perfectly rated beer that can’t be found outside the state it’s made and the owner was able to get it to the store for us.
Going in was totally overwhelming but totally worth the overwhelm, it’s craft beer heaven. So many options. Really need to make my way back down there. Cheers!

HUGE selection of local craft beers. It looks like a typical liquor store from the outside and I never would have guessed they have such a huge beer selection. I went looking for something I had tasted at a local restaurant and eventually found it. The staff knows their beer and can point you towards what you want. This is my go-​to beer store from now on.

This place has an impeccable selection. Tons of craft beer options too. No point going anywhere else.

The best bottle shop in town! They have an awesome selection of rare beers and spirits and they don’t jack up prices like crazy. I live all the way in North Park and I come here for my stuff. The staff is super awesome and knowledgable too. If you go ask for Daniel!

Go. Do yourself a favor and go. Beer on every possible shelf – some real rare stuff. Best selection in San Diego. The owner, Hector I think, stopped what he was doing and showed us around when he heard it was our first time there. It’s a bit of a drive from PB, but it’s definitely worth it for the beer fanatics.

I was on the 94 heading to a padre game and needed some beer for tailgating. I got off the freeway and headed for Palm Springs Market. This was my first time there and I was surprised at how much craft beer selection they have. There are rows and rows of craft beer. This has to be the best selection of craft beer in east county. The staff there is also very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I will be back for sure.

Holy beer selection! If you’re into specialty beers this is the place you’ve been looking for. My husband and I spent a good amount of time just trying to look at everything. Don’t let the small space fool you; there’s a TON packed in. If beer isn’t your thing, they have a pretty large selection of craft sodas as well.
We walked away with a vanilla porter, a passion fruit white Belgian, and a cherry cream soda.

These guys are real pros. Daniel and Randy are the best in the business! Super knowledgeable and fair priced. An incredible stock. My highest recommendation!

Wow. Passed this place so many times, and then saw the Pliny bottle on the Unilocal page and went into the RCA dog head twist. Stopped in today — wall to wall — to wall… they have everything and everyone in here from the emerging and spinning craft brew world!

Asked for a relatively obscure Urthel beer: had it. I made the choice to ask for a recommendation GREAT idea [find the cool dude in the back fridge] [ prob why he’s so cool]…anyway, THANK YOU!- out the door with 2 beers that are rare: «Citraholic «- mouthful of citrus/pine/hop/love…enjoying it now. This is from Beechwood Brewing, Long Beach and it is killer.
2^nd choice: Pliny WhaT? are you kidding me – casually, ‘we have some back here’ — cra crazy…

There is no one better in the area! We were able to stock our cabinet in one stop. They had everything we needed and more. All three were unbelievable in knowlege and suggestions. Polite, friendly, fast to take care of everyone… need I say more? Don’t forget to ask about the restaurant they are opening!

wow these guys are amazing! I stumbled across this place after i moved out to spring valley. First time i walked in i was taken away with the ridiculous selection of craft beer availabe. best selection I’ve seen in SD and i am quite familiar with the other great bottle shops in san diego… these guys are top notch. Their pricing is amazing and their staff is on the same level. they are very knowledgeable and helpful. i recommend this place to anyone who loves great beer at a great price!
On that note, i was planning my wedding and i inquired about getting a great selection of special beers in bulk for the reception. Daniel took care of me and all of my needs. They had the shipment ready days before the event and made it super easy to pick-​up with plenty of time to get that detail taken care of and worry free.

From the outside it looks very inconspicuous but when you enter, you’ve entered heaven. They have so many beers that it’s overwhelming. The staff is great. Very knowledgable. I found beers that I’ve only seen on the east coast. A bigger selection than BevMo. This place is truly a hidden gem.

Ok, the people who were in here the same time as I was were… well, sketchy. Loud, cussing, etc. But they weren’t there for the craft beer part of the store.
As far as the beer selection goes — absolutely killer! They carry the best breweries distributed in southern California. I even found a nice selection of Almanac here! Also, the staff was super friendly which never hurts.

Craft Beer! Awesome place to walk into if you are a connoisseur or just love a damn good beer. Best in SD. It’s worth driving across town for, and it is a regular trip I happily take every time. I took my friend in today and he was in awe like a kid in a candy store. He actually walked through some of the store recording a video of the selection. How many liquor stores have ever made you want to film it?
I have been going here for a while and what I have realized is the staff is friendly and will go out of there way to provide any beer they can get their hands on. The selection speaks for itself. If you like craft beer and you haven’t been here, well, your missing out.

This must be the place.
So I’ve finally found it. This is it. This store is the El Dorado in regards to craft beer. Everything I’ve ever wanted and even stuff I never knew existed all in one place, all under one roof, all for a great price. All of my go-​to craft brews (Mother Earth, Aztec, Lightning, Coronado, just to name a few) are sold right here, so no need to go hunting around anymore. The fact that it is only a few miles from where I live makes it all the better. I finally know where to go for all of my beer needs.
From the outside this place looks pretty unflattering. It just looks it would be your average place with maybe some domestic, a couple trendy craft beers and that’s about it. However, once you step foot inside, any assumptions you may have made just simply vanish.
Aside from the HUGE selection (several, packed aisles) of local, semi-​local and not so local craft beer, their prices are excellent too. Better than BevMo in most cases and in some cases the exact same price and even cheaper than if you bought the bottles directly from the Brewery/​Tasting Room! Say what? I was smitten with joy when I saw my favorite local Hef offered cheaper than it was sold directly from the brewery’s tasting room. That was the final selling point for me. Oh yeah, it’s that kind of place.
The employee that I happened to talk to there in one of the aisles was extremely polite, helpful and informative, he didn’t claim to have the best selection in SD but he would like to think it was pretty close to the best in East County SD and I would have to agree. I’d even go as far to say in all of SD but I haven’t been shopping everywhere in SD for beer yet and quite frankly, after finding this place I doubt I’ll have to.
Oh yeah, I will keep coming back. There were too many different types of beers here to try even over the period of several months (unless you suffer from Dipsomania). The selection is simply beyond excellent. The people here are awesome. I have found my new favorite.

I could probably just leave that as my review and it would sufficiently describe this liquor store, but I’ll expand on that word just a little bit.
I was randomly searching through Unilocal on my phone for something and this liquor store popped up. After reading some reviews I knew we had to stop by. After our customary Sunday afternoon errands, we found our way into Palm Springs Market. I can honestly say that the first five minutes I wandered around looking at all the craft beer my jaw was dropped. Literally. I looked like a creepy mouth-​breather and I apologize to anyone who saw my face during that time. It was probably un-​cute.
Regardless, this shop has an awesome AWESOME A W E S O M E selection of craft beer. It was a bit overwhelming for our first trip, but WOWZA — who cares?! The owner is very friendly and helped us both pick out some nice brews we hadn’t heard of before. Their prices were probably slightly less than average, but their «specials» are what you should be excited about. You guys should get in here immediately and buy Victory at Sea while they are still 2 for $ 10. I just bought one bottle at BevMo three days ago for $ 8.50. They had many 2fers at Palm Springs Market and I love 2fers so that’s exciting for me.
My husband homebrews now so we don’t buy beer nearly as much as we used to, but when we do need more craft beer we’ll for sure come back here to play.
