Sam’s Club

Although I much prefer the other large warehouse store (Their initials might rhyme with CC), Sam’s in the only real option if you live on the Gulf Freeway south of Beltway 8. With that being said, when we do go to Sam’s, we go to the Texas City location. If is MUCH MUCH MUCH easier to get to than the El Dorado location, which is currently buried behind road construction and the resulting traffic jam.
The Texas City location is normally pretty clean and well organized. As normal, I find myself buying more than what I went in for originally. The staff is normally helpful. Also, in case you have not heard, Sam’s now takes all forms of payment including AMEX.
I am normally not a fan of buying an extended warranty. However, on TV’s I have learned from experience that buying an extended warranty will normally pay off. The TV warranties at Sam’s are priced based upon what the TV cost. I think $ 499 and less will cost $ 49 and more than $ 500 will be $ 99. That will extend your warranty by four years. Read the details in case it has changed but if I remember correctly, those are the numbers.
All in all, for a Sam’s Club, I give the Texas City location 4 stars.

I love Sam’s and have had my membership for many years. It’s your typical Sam’s Club and it’s not many bad things to say about this location. I find this store to be clean and the inventory is always well stocked. My only complaint is the check-​out process takes a while because it seems there are never enough cashiers. But hey, this is a Sam Walton store.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Sam’s club and would hate to let one worker ruin my experience. I come 2 times a week and love how nice and efficient it is. However, I went to self check out and a worker was being really rude. The machine didn’t take my form of payment and she snatched it out of my hand to try it. I asked a simple question and she caught a bad attitude with me and ruined the experience. Overall, I love the place and how clean it is. Just that time was a horrible experience for me.

I love that this location moved right down the street from us! I’m a huge Sam’s club fan & it makes it really convenient for me to make my usual trips. The staff is really nice and they always seem to have a good selection on items.

I just wanted to complement SAMs Club bakery, we got a cake for my Grandsons Birthday, it was soo good ! Fresh, moist and pretty.
I would give them five stars, but the lines are so long. 14 people running around looking like they were busy. Only 3 people checking out customers.

Oh Sam’s…I always have an agenda when I come see you, that much I will confess.
Though you draw me in with great pricing, deals and glimpses of how to enhance my world and my focus sways to other must have items.
My cart runneth over and does my bank account drain.
And even though you’re the cousin of Walmart, and he’s a worthless Boob… I’m a little taken by your ability to add value to my life.
