Malihe is the best and sweetest manicurist I’ve ever seen. She has the cutest littlest shop in La Jolla. I found this place so random while I was Group on shopping. Malihe works with appointment only which is nice becahse you know when you get there, her time is yours and no body else. She is so careful and patient with you. She makes sure all the edges and corners are your nails are smooth and if they are not, she goes over them many times to make sure they are even. Super clean place with variety of good quality nail colors. She has the sweetest and kindest heart which makes you comfortable and put you at ease. Highly recommend her to everybody.

Mali is talented and so sweet! It is a pretty private setting but she’s located in a beautiful office that really makes you feel relaxed. She takes her time to do every thing so my manicure/​pedicure always turns out pristine. You need to call and make an appointment as it is a one-​woman show. I won’t go anywhere else!

I had a great experience with Mali. I found her through Groupon and I was very pleased. Her salon is located in downtown La Jolla in the Phenoix Salon Suite building. Parking is tough to find on the weekend but it is conveniently located near many shops and restaurants.
Her salon is very small but cute and cozy. She makes you feel right at home with nice music and great conversation. I went in for a shellac manicure and was very pleased. Getting your nails done with Mali takes longer than most nail places. This is because she takes her time, paying attention to detail. It is not like your crazy loud nail salon with quick turn around. I have been recommending my friends to go with Mali.
I will be taking advantage of her threading skills in the future ($ 8 for eye brows).

I really enjoyed my time with Mali! I had only been to a small one-​on-​one place like this once. I usually go to your normal nail salons with lots of stations. This was very private and intimate. Mali was very sweet and polite and we ended up having a really nice conversation. I found her offer online (groupon, I believe) but called her directly to make an appointment first. She quickly returned my message which was great. Her suite was very organized and welcoming. She offered tea and chocolates (which was awesome!).
The mani/​pedi came out lovely and her attention to detail was great! She didn’t rush and everything was sanitary. I loved the end result. I would have enjoyed a little longer massage, but considering how great everything else was, I was very pleased and will definitely return!

Being someone who is hard on their hands, having a good manicure now and then definitely does a world of good… and this is the best place to do it! Mali is great, loved how my shellac manicure turned out… she also does really pretty nail art! Will be back :)

Mali is a sweetheart and really pays attention to detail. I was really excited when she said that she didn’t charge extra for nail art because I have found that most other places charge extra if you want any sort of design on your nail. I will definitely be going back to her in a couple weeks!!! Might also add on a pedicure next time

It’s a small nails place within a building. Mali was great she was attentive (took her time with details and did not rush) and sweet she really made you feel relaxed with tea chocolate and relaxing music. Everything was very sanitized and the end result was beautiful. Most importantly the price was very reasonable. Definitely going back again

Mali was so incredible! I had never had shellac done before, but they looked great and lasted for three weeks. I already have another appointment with her! Her prices are fabulous and she is very clean. I appreciated that she asked what shape I wanted my nails, took care to ask about allergies, and has a lot of different colors of nail polish– for shellac and regular. She is very polite and kind. I have very sensitive skin and cut easily and when my cuticle was accidentally cut she immediately apologized it and cleaned it carefully with alcohol wipes to ensure optimal cleanliness. Being a health professional, it was a huge deal to me that she handled my small abrasion in such a smart way. The only thing is it was a little difficult to find being in a little door upstairs and around the corner, but I found it! Overall, it was such a fabulous experience and I higghly recommend her!

If you have the time and want great service in a relaxing atmosphere, definitely give Mali a try. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she didn’t cut any corners on my manicure or pedicure.
