Kitchen Expo

This company remodeled my kitchen in 2000. High cost product, below average design work and installation. Both the designer and installer were fired immediately following the job. Granite work inferior and charged for a high quality cabinet when the next grade down was ordered. Miscellaneous and sundry other things. Which brings me to more recent events.
A trash compactor was incorrectly installed and when I tried to replace it after several years, found I couldn’t get the old one out. I did call Kitchen Expo and they sent someone out to look at it and indeed fixed it. Several years ago I paid them to replace the faux legs on my kitchen island. The job was fine, but expensive. So I’m upbeat on them, right?
No. Recently the microwave failed and it had to come out as well. When I pulled out the microwave I found that the power receptacle was not properly installed and in fact the microwave plug had been shoved into the recess where the receptacle should have been. The receptacle was even further back. Not sure how this didn’t start a fire.
Knowing that these guys would want to know about this possible code violation (and perhaps even reinstall my new microwave for my trouble and hazard) I filled out their online «contact us» form. Nothing. So I called and was given the service guy’s voice mail. Nothing. No answer, no return phone call, no anything. Sent them a second «contact us» form. Hello???
As a former customer, both in 2000 and in 2007 you would think they might return a phone call? Result = 1 star for overrated Kitchen Expo.
