JR is AWESOME! I am a massage therapist too, so I know my stuff… and sometimes I need real, deep, rehabilitative work and JR never disappoints me. He has helped me with post-​car-​accident neck and upper-​back issues, as well as identified some key points for me to be aware of in the future to avoid further joint injury. He is super-​smart and very professional. Excellent therapist, hands down.

JR is quite simply one of the best massage therapists that I have ever had the pleasure of being worked on by. I have been receiving regular massage for almost 30 years now and all over the country and even internationally at times. JR is without a doubt one of my top 3. He works very naturally and seems to read your muscles as effortlessly as others read the comic strips. One of the most difficult reasons for me to leave San Diego was leaving JR behind. He really is that good. JR perhaps should have a government warning label as his hands are truly addictive!

I have been a Yoga teacher and Pilates Trainer since the early 80’s, bike a fair amount and am pretty fit. I took up xcountry skiing love it and then crashed bad, messed up my knee and hip, compensated and got weak. JR is a master, gets to know your body immediately and can really give solid relief and long term rehabilitaion. I have been reviewing for my clients massage therapists for years and he is the best treatment you could get.

I highly recommend JR to anyone and everyone! He is by far the most effective massage therapist I’ve ever been to. He is able to heal things that others have unsuccessfully attempted to and he doesn’t just «band-​aid» the problem, but finds the source of it and permanently corrects it.

I’ve known JR for over 5 years and have never met a more professional and results oriented massage therapist. His comprehensive view of the body as a whole and extensive knowledge of anatomy make his treatments more effective than any other massage I’ve received. His ability to get rid of trigger points is the best!
