DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

I came here to use my $ 5.00 coupon for my birthday. A lot of shoes were 80% off original price. I found some cute sandals for the summer. After using my coupon, the pair of shoes costs $ 1.60. No kidding. Awesome deal. I came out with a pair of cute sandals.
Customer service could be better. I was greeted hello but no offer of help. Place was not busy and there was plenty of room to maneuver inside.
This will always be my store to shop for shoes. Plenty of parking up front. I will be back for more shoes. I love this store!

DSW is for those with a shoe obsession. This store is magical. It’s like walking in to your dream shoe closet. I kid you not. Today was my first experience at this location. I came after the holiday rush to return a pair of Bear Claws mom bought me for Christmas. Sorry Uggs. I have kids now so I can’t spend all of my flow on you.
I looked around the store and couldn’t find the boot. However I did see two nice employees approaching me asking me if I needed help. One went ahead and looked up the shoe on her iPad to see if she could have them transferred to the store. It wasn’t available but she asked if I liked another style. Unfortunately leopard boots aren’t my thing. So, to the counter I go to make a return. The girl at the counter was so nice and helpful, she really made my return easy and painless. Once I left the store I checked my phone to see if the website had the boot in stock. They did. Hmmm. I went ahead and ordered it myself although I was concerned why the sales girl didn’t just tell me I could order online. Oh well! I’ll get my boots and I’ll be happy about it.
Ps– they are under construction over in this shopping area. DSW is on the second floor and the escalators aren’t working. Just a heads up!

I always find really good deals when I come in. Surprisingly they have good brand name shoes — such as Michael Kors, Coach, etc… I’ve purchased some brand shoes and some moderately brand shoes (Lifestride) for work. Now that I travel from site to site at work, I need comfy heels!
The service is always friendly, although at times when I do need assistance, there is no one around. Depending on the time/​day you go, this place can get really busy. What would be helpful if there is an instant way to check your size/​availability without trying to flag someone down or bring the shoe up to the counter.
What is also convenient is that they will ship shoes to your residence for free. I’ve done this service and it is great! You get your shoes within a few days.
Ample parking and located in the same shopping center as the movie theaters, Ulta and Trader Joes.

Their clearance section always has good finds too! Sometimes you will see a pair that they’re still selling on their regular shelves simply because it just has a minor defect on it. Love it!

I always enjoy a stroll through DSW. This type of «discount store» is laid out very well and easy to see everything. I’ve always gotten great service here. The selection is abundant and even the clearance section has some good stuff!
They have a rewards program that is free so you get points for shopping and will get coupons for reaching certain levels. (super cool free perk)
One thing that pushed this review to the 5 star level was that they now offer free shipping if they don’t have your size in stock. They will find the shoe for you elsewhere and send it to your house. In my eyes, that’s a fine example of superior service!

I gave this business 3 stars because they graciously honored a coupon they sent me by mail about a week after it had expired. I can’t complain about customer service. The staff were very nice and very professional.
My complaint is more general, and am sure it probably applies to all DSW stores nationwide. And, it’s this. They don’t seem to care about their male customers. Their section for male customers is about 15% to 20% the size of the total store. Whether it be formals or sport shoes, the variety that they have for men is disappointing. Every time a man enters through its doors, the walls of DSW stores say to him, «What the hell are you doing here? We don’t want you!»

I love this place because they always have so many shoes and boots to choose from. There sales are fantastic also. Up to 70% off!!! I could have spend a fortune today buying boots and shoes I didn’t need, but I went in for a specific shoe and did not find it. Clean and organized, bags on sale right now also!!!
