Deena Tajran, MD

I was really impressed by how much time she spent with me my first visit and every visit since when I have multiple issues. She takes so much time to explain everything and I feel like she has my best interests at heart.
I have had no issues at all dealing with billing, it’s all been really easy.
The only thing I will say is that given how busy her practice is (and probably because she doesn’t like to rush through patients when they have concerns) you will very likely have to wait a decent amount of time once and awhile. That being said, I would rather have a smart talented, doctor who takes their time than someone who gets me in right away every time.
Overall, I highly would recommend anyone to go to her, especially if you require any type of difficult surgery or have complications as I would trust her over anyone in terms of skills in surgery.

Best OBGYN I’ve ever been to in San Diego. I’ve seen many different doctors here over the years and Dr. Tajran is one of the best in her field, she is smart, decisive, and will help you make the best sound medical decision for you and your body –she is good at that. She is a busy lady because smart people know she is good at what she does and she is straight forward with you, her office can get backed up.
I have been seeing her for about a decade, she has a friendly staff in both offices Mira Mesa and La Jolla.
There can be long waits, but my view is she is worth it!

Dr Tajran’s office has moved from another location which is why I couldn’t find other reviews but now that I have seen them I never would have set foot in this office. I arrived to find a rude and unapologetic staff and waited 1.5 hours before I was actually seen. According to her other reviews, hour or longer wait times are pretty frequent for her office.
Don’t bother wasting your time spending hours in her waiting room with her condescending staff and see someone else who actually values their patient’s time.
