I hope the owner of the business will read this review. First of all I was a repeat customer. I bought my first comfort bedding x-firm mattress from La Harbra location in October 2014. Its a great product for a great price. The firmest mattress I could find in LA. I was assisted by Katherine and received excellent service and timely delivery. Of course when I needed another queen mattress for the guest bedroom I came back to The Mattress Place. The sales person here was Jon. I explained that I was a repeat customer and specified the product I needed. The pricing he quoted me wasn’t as straightforward as with Katherine. It was actually very high especially I already had the receipt for the king size mattress. Ok, we negotiated and agreed on price. He asked me if I need box or frame I told no. I need mattress only. Jon checked, they had item in stock and scheduled delivery in a few days. The delivery guy called me and they were at my door even before the scheduled time. Excellent. They brought in matress and boxspring. Why the hell boxspring? I specified to Jon that I needed mattress only. By the time I looked in the paperwork delivery guys left. And yes in my order in very small almost unreadable letters its scribbled QWEENMATTRESS st. I called Jon right away, truck just left less then 5 min ago. First thing he did he SCREAMED that he doesnt take anything back, truck won’t come back and so on and so forth. I can bring box back and probably owner will consider refund, but very unlikely. Anyway, I beleive Comfort Bedding products they sell are good, the mattress I have for 1 year is excellent with no signs of defect. Was I robbed of $ 100 for unnecessary box spring YES. Do I think that they conduct business unethically — YES. Can Jon handle situation in the professional manner — NO. Will I come back to the business — NO. Would I reccomend it to anybody — NO. If you absolutely need to purchase from them check your paperwork and read every letter in the order form.

Prices are great but the owner is a little creepy. He wouldn’t allow my 2 year old on the display beds because«I have to sell them» I’m sorry but they’re displays. Do you sell displays? He was willing to go above and beyond to get us a deal on a bedroom set at a great price but his demeanor turned me off.

John sold me a set for a great deal. 300 $ for a mattress and box spring set. If it breaks whatever, I paid 300 $ I know I should have spent 1000 $. His customer service was awesome, real nice dude.

I spoke to David at the la habra location where I bought my mattress not even a year ago, who referred me to Dave jr his son at the west minister store for my problem I was having over a crap product they sold thousands of customers, the«silver rest» mattress that they no longer sell. Let me start out by saying the guy named Dave is very rude and not customer oriented. I have my original receipt I bought a mattress from their la habra store back in March that’s not even a year old yet that had completely sunken in on the sides and the foam in the mattress has slid down to the bottom of the mattress. I called the la habra store and they told me to call Dave at the Westminster store, Dave told me no problem we had many problems with the silver rest mattress and that is why we have discontinued selling it on our stores. It can be replaced no problem. He had me call the warranty dept that told me I had to go through all these steps for a warranty which is understandable but then I had to transport my mattress that they sold me mind you all the way to pico Rivera to get repaired. This has been the worst customer service we have ever received and will not be referring anyone to this place or buying anything from here. Every place is looking to make a buck and rip you off. Where is the honesty in family owned business now a days? I rate this place 1 star and will never go here again…
