Ruby’s Grill Baja Style

The food is really good here and serve you a lot of it as well. It’s a very small place, so you might miss it but if you stop on by, I think you would enjoy the food. The reason why I gave it four stars is because the food took awhile to come out while people who ordered after me received there’s first. But overall I would recommend this place.

So affordable and tasty! Wonderful little gem! Super freshly made homemade food, generous portions, not greasy, real ingedients, very tasty… like visiting a friend where the mom kindly cooks up something in the kitchen for you. I loved my fish tacos and the others at my table enjoyed their burrito and sopas. The freshly made guacamole and grilled chile peppers are absolutely delicious.

service is ok. they try hard. the lady speaks poor english and she gets an A for effort. The lady isnt very nice and kinda rushes people since there is onlynl two workers.

Just had a wet shrimp burrito and it was delectable for only 7 bucks. I’ve been to this establishment serval times since my last review and I’m very pleased by how delicious the food is here, I mean the onwners are really making flavorful food in that little kitchen. I will say something about the restaurant if anyone is contemplating on giving it a try — this place is tiny hole in the wall and the inside isn’t very glamorous at all, they have spray painted makeshift chairs, the menu is unorganized, and parking at the restaurant is hard to get to if you’re not on the same side of the street. DEPSITE all of that the food is wonderful and the prices are very fair.

A basic hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. The place has good food and is really cheap. It is fairly small though and really better set up as a place to get take out than a place to stay and eat.

I came to this joint for taco Tuesday with a Co worker. The location was kind of hard to get to due to the double yellow lines, but if you were outlaw like me, you would have no problem getting into the restaurant parking lot easy. Plenty of space.
The restaurant relies heavily on pictured menu and I have a feeling you can ask them to make anything since there’s no paper menu at all. On the outside of the restaurant shows they have burgers and my co worker actually was in the mood for that. Sadly when we got inside, they told us they didn’t have burgers that day. Not sure if it was sold out or what… Anyway, according to the pictures on the wall, the buyer can be a value buy if they have it. So for taco Tuesday, they only have 3 different kinds, steak, chicken and fried pork. They also have fish taco for a dollar on Wednesdays. From my understanding, they are famous for tortas so I got sucked in to try that instead. Since my knowledge on tortas is extremely limited, I asked the owner lady to make me something. I think she told me she will give me a «everything» tortas. Sure! I am up for that, why not! I also got a carne asada taco and a watermelon drink. Co worker got all the tacos.
I must say, the size of the tortas at $ 6.95 is a steal. It’s like a little baby in my hand. The flavor was great and the bread was toasted but not crunchy. It was just perfect for me. The tacos is like what you can expect from a good taco truck. Delicious and they are not cheap on their steaks either. The Co worker told me he likes the steak the best compare to all 3. My usual taco Tuesday spot charges 2 something for carne asada so if I am in the mood for steak taco on Tuesday, this place is it!
3 stars because the place can be cleaner and I had to ask for salsa for my free chips, which was fresh and crunchy. They also forgot to give me my drink and I had to ask for it after swallow down my delicious taco. Would I go back? Hells yeah. They take all credit cards except American express and you get a better smile if you speak Spanish.
