The food was fresh and hot! The BBQ Chicken and Macaroni Salad is the best. Had them cater a party and everything was right and delivered hot and on time. Will definitely use them again!

First time ordering from here and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the price. I placed a phone order for the chicken katsu plate with an egg and extra Mac on the side for a little less than $ 10. I was told it would be ready in 10 – 15 minutes, which it was, I got my food brought it home and was pleasantly surprised by how tender the chicken was with a nice light crispiness on the outside. Oh, and the egg was a great decision with the katsu. Mac was good. Rice was good. Service was good. I’ll be back to this place soon to try out more soon.

If you ask Google to «call L & L on Imperial», make sure you specify If you mean the one in Brea or it will call Lily’s in LA Habra, which used to be an L&L. Very nice people, would love to try this place soon.

The best environment to be and probably the best Hawaiin BBQ joint I’ve been to. The owner is very polite and made effort to conversate with my table. Prices are very cheap, I was suprised especially because the BBQ chicken plate that I had order was good quality and the macaroni salad on the side was even a plus. The kids loved it too! I would recommend this place to my family & friends.

Love this place. Employees/owner are very friendly. Owner remembers me each time I come in.(Every 3 or so months). Food was outstanding as usual. Almost better than when it was another Hawaiian BBQ place!

We phoned in an order so that we could pick it up ahead of time. When I picked it up and got home, the rice was terribly undercooked. I called the restaurant to complain and they said that I can come back there to get more rice. I asked if they could deliver it since it was their mistake or throw in a couple $ 1.25 spam musibis for the inconvenience but the clerk simply said sorry we cannot do that. I feel like the situation could have been handled better. The manager called back after 10 minutes and was very apologetic. He was sincere and I could tell he wanted to try and fix the problem. It would have been better if it was handled properly right away but at least he tried.

This place has gotten much better. Rice is yummy, and spam musuni is much better here than at Ono Hawaiian food. Only thing i would like is more cabbage if possible.

This place is at the corner of beach and imperial. It’s a mom and pop shop as it seems. The food quality is actually not that bad at all. we especially love the spam musubi. with ono bbq recently opened down the street, the wait time here has gotten shorter. But the food quality is better than ono’s. Ono’s is a bit more pricey too. I recommend this place for any Hawaiian food cravings. and another perk is the pre packaged sauce you can take on the go, thumbs up to that

This place is super rad! They make the food while you wait, and they have a pretty good seating area. Small menu, it’s pretty straightforward. Overall a pretty clean placed. I had the loco moco which was super good and a lot of food for super cheap. They’re portions are big and it’s super fresh. They also have good egg rolls for under a buck. If I get the chance I will definitely be back.

Chicken katsu! Quick service, friendly staff. They also deliver! The price is good when comparing to other Hawaiian bbq joints. They even have a tv to entertain you while you wait!

I really wanted to like you but, dinner was a major disappointment. It was difficult understanding the owner and his broken English that he passed the phone to the chef. I ordered the family pack which came with a choice of 3 meats, rice, & mac salad. I chose the Katsu, BBQ chicken, and the recommended Kahlua pork w/cabbage. I was expecting large cabbage leaves bit instead they were julienned bits mixed into the pork. The bbq chicken was already chopped with teriyaki sauce added. The Katsu was crispy but some pieces looked over cooked. I got an over flowing box of white rice(about six servings) and mac salad. The elbow macaroni was definitely over cooked and included broken small junk pieces. It was not very good at all. I was expecting the typical perfect small balls of mac that you get at other typical Hawaiian BBQ places such as Ono or Aloha. I give them kudos for being friendly though. They offer free delivery. He asked where I lived and told me that they deliver since I’m not too far. Your friendly service & free delivery can’t overcome the mediocre food. I paid $ 30 and some change. I’d rather pay a little more for much better food and meh service.

Came in this morning craving Chicken Katsu. And amazing chicken Katsu is what I got. Macaroni Salad was on point. The young man working the counter was very helpful. The place is very clean Here is my disclaimer, if you are in a hurry, this place isn’t for you. It takes time to make the food(you can’t rush perfection). But it’s so worth the wait. I can’t wait to go back.

Well since I just wrote a 1-Star review about Kmart Bellflower, I decided to do another Unilocal Review to balance myself out, so I don’t feel so evil. This place was a L&L Hawaiian BBQ joint up until a couple months ago or last year. The place basically has the same menu as L&L but they’ve tweaked up the recipe’s a bit. So it’s basically like Alberto’s turning into Mochasalsa or another adaptation of the name Alberto’s, some of companies just need to come up with more stringent franchising rules. So why does Lily’s get 5-STARS by me? Because service here is great, the owners and the employees are all awesome people, they truly know how to take care of their customers. I can also come here for a filling lunch or dinner with my son for a really cheap meal. Here is our usual order 2 Chicken Katsu Musubis, 2 Spam Musubis, and one scoop of Macaroni Salad. All that food for $ 5.50. The MUSUBI’s are only $.99 here everyday, and they put a good amount of rice in them and the scoop of mac salad is another buck. I don’t think there’s any other place in the area that has them this cheap. They also serve 2 other kinds of Musubis Portuguese sausage and BBQ chicken and yes they are 99 cents also. Another thing about this place is that they are generous about their sauces, this place really knows how to take care of OHANA. Their plates are also great and so is their shaved ice which is also a cheap deal @ $ 2.60. Go try this place for yourself and I am pretty sure you will be very happy with your meal and service. Did I mention that their very full Musubis are only 99CENTS? And when I say full musubi I mean that the seaweed ends barely touch each other. They also serve Malasada’s here, they ain’t the ones you get at Leonard’s but they hit the spot if thats what your craving. 5-STARS — Go try the place out if you haven’t already. The food is truly ONO

Since this business was taken over by Lily’s Hawaiian BBQ it has gotten better. You can visually see the business was updated and redesigned. My go to order is the chicken katsu, with a Spam Musubi for the side. If you like Hawaiian BBQ this is a good local place for the city of La Habra.

Way better than L&L Hawaiian BBQ! All the food was FRESH!!! The BBQ Chicken was fresh and NOT Fatty The Beef Ribs were like big ribs you get at a restaurant and soft. The Shredded Pork was good with the sauce on the side. The Veggies were fresh and tasty The Rice was great The Macaroni Salad was great The tall old man was really sweet and tried really hard to give us good customer service and make sure we got what we wanted. Not sure how they only got 3 stars (They have daily specials too)

I don’t think I actually ever set foot in this La Habra L&L Barbecue, but since my university was pretty close by, we’d do an L&L order to go for our quarterly meetings. Ordering from this L&L was actually the first time I had«Hawaiian» food when I moved to the mainland. Though of course, it wasn’t the same as experiencing local food on Oahu, the chicken katsu from this place was pretty good – sufficiently breaded and fried, and the chicken was of the same quality(moist, tender and juicy) that I’m used to. If I’m ever in the area and craving some local eats, I wouldn’t mind actually walking into the restaurant to enjoy a meal. Here are some of my L&L favorites: «Chicken Katsu»: This is probably one of my favorites from L&L, whether I’m at a Hawaii L&L or a mainland one. This entrée features tender pieces of boneless chicken coated with special seasoning and deep-fried, served with our special L&L Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken Katsu sauce. This plate lunch can easily be defined as the local eatery’s best seller. I don’t usually use the katsu sauce and I get the mini version with one scoop of white rice and mac salad. But I truly love the breading on the katsu — it’s near perfect. Not too crispy and hard for my taste, but enough so that you get that delectable fried crunch in every bite. I also always go for the mac salad because I like how the L&L version isn’t overdosed with mayo(and if it is, I don’t eat all of the salad. For the most part, though, I enjoy these succulent macaroni noodles). «Fried Fish Fillet»: I decided to go with this fried fish entrée once instead of my usual katsu order because I do love a good mahi filet. This entrée includes fish filet that’s fried to a golden brown and served with tartar sauce. I liked the breading of the fish – a good amount – and I thought it had enough taste(with just some salt added) so I didn’t use any of the tartar. I ended up getting a regular plate cause I was starving, and this meal ended up functioning as both my lunch and dinner. Regular plate lunches come with two scoops of rice and your choice of salad(mac/green), while mini plates(which I usually get) have one scoop of rice and your choice of salad. «Seafood Platter»: If I ever wanted a combo, I would probably go for this seafood entrée because it contains shrimp and fish … two seafood dishes that I really do like. I’d take fried shrimp over grilled shrimp any day, and I already know I like the fresh, moist fish fillet that comes with this combo. «Seafood Combo»: If I wanted one more element to a seafood-filled plate, I would get this combo because it provides a great sampling of some of my favorite meats. You get a fish fillet, fried shrimp and your choice of BBQ beef/chicken/short ribs or chicken katsu. Of course, I would go for the katsu because that’s my favorite entrée from L&L, but I like this option because it features two of my seafood favorites as well. Of course, that’s a lot of fried stuff in one entrée, but I would be sure to only eat half and save the other half for later. «Garlic Shrimp»: There’s nothing better than succulent prawns sautéed with rich garlic, green onions and butter. Except I would nix the green onions if I ever got this shrimp entrée. «Hawaiian Plate»: This combo features hefty pork chuck wrapped with taro leaves that are steamed to perfection and served with savory, smoky-flavored kalua pork. I don’t get lau lau very often – simply because entrees including lau lau are often expensive – but this plate lunch sounds absolutely delicious, so I may have to make an exception. I love the moist, juicy pork that’s in the leaves – it’s usually super flavorful because of the steamed leaves – and I also enjoy eating the moist taro leaves that provide a wet outer shell. My mouth waters just thinking about how good this dish must be. «Kalua Pork»: I love a good kalua pork entrée, so I’ll definitely have to order this entrée at some point. It features smoke-flavored, succulent shredded pork slowly roasted to a flavorful finish and mixed with cabbage. Yum! I’m pretty picky when it comes to Hawaiian food – I don’t really like lomi salmon, poi and all that jazz – but kalua pork and cabbage is one of the traditional Hawaiian components that I AM very fond of. VERY. «Loco Moco»: I haven’t had the«Loco Moco» from here yet, but it sounds like the traditional local dish on paper. It includes savory hamburger patties placed over rice, covered with brown gravy and topped with 2 eggs. It’s also served with your choice of salad; I would go for the mac salad. I would probably ask for gravy on the side if ordering this dish, as I don’t like my «Loco Moco» overrun with gravy, but I’m eager to try this local treat one day.

Spam Musubi $ 1.29 a piece on Tuesdays!(I might be wrong) I like coming to this location for whatever reason I find myself doing business on this side of the world! Great guys! They are very welcoming and extremely nice! The restaurant is small with a few tables, always clean and there’s always plenty of parking! The macaroni salad is just so delicious! I wish I knew how they did this or maybe that would be dangerous because I would probably eat it by the gallon! NOJOKE! Chicken Katsu is always made to order! It’s not sitting around for a while under a heat lamp! Phone in your order, if your in a hurry! It takes about 10 minutes to get your order! FOURSTARS!!! Go eat Musubi!!! :)
