Most Dennys suck, as we all know. This one is slow, but the food was always hot, so we keep coming back. However, the fire mess has not been addressed at all– no activity at all. Perhaps Dennys is abandoning the location? No loss, really.

A friend got raw pie here once and the wait staff called him a «coward» for insulting their sub par products. I gave them two stars for that.

Just a heads up, this restaurant location in La Habra experienced a pretty severe fire to the structure early the morning of January 8th, and will likely be closed down for repairs for some time to come. You should probably call ahead to find out if and when they will be reopening.

The service is always good here! Our server Sandra was very attentive to our family and even made sure the coffee was decaf with a specialized paper coaster set underneath. I appreciated the organization. We tend to build our own grand slam so we can have healthier choices(egg whites, turkey sausage, plain oatmeal or fruit) without the up charge. They also have the best wheat pancakes I’ve ever had in a diner; very fluffy and large. I prefer them over their buttermilk pancakes. Popular Sunday brunch spot

I’m one of their regular customer. I was very disappointed yesterday because my waitress named Linda got me upset because I asked for turkey bacon instead of regular and she said very rulely there’s a upgrade charge for that and I answer really you’ve done it in the past many times today because you seem to be not in a good mood anyways long story short they didn’t take care of me like normal even the Manger name Juan was in the same page with Linda from many years and times it was my first time with Bad experience.:(

My waiter Guerrmo(who has waited on my children and I before) deserves all 5 stars. However the manager made the experience awful! When I walked in Saturday morning there was a waiting list. I was pen in had about to write my name when a waiter told me to hold on a moment. A minute later the manager Juan walked up and started asking people who had just walked in for their names. I stepped up and said«excuse me, I was here before them» he turned and said well you didn’t writ your name and you just came in!” I said no I was here and explained to him that I was asked not to sign by a waiter. He was very rude and scolded me like I was a liar. Told me I had just walked in and it wouldn’t be a problem if he just put me at the bottom of the list because eventually everyone would be seated. He then began to seat everyone who had walked in after me like as if a punishment for what he must have felt was lying about having been in the restaurant first. I was so upset and there was no politeness or apology for his mistake. He was actually very upset and rude. I’m a 32yr woman I have no need to lie to get in to a Denny’s. The manager was rude rude rude!!!

I tried to give this Denny’s another chance tonight… but it’s gone way down hill. The past two times me and my family have come in our food was at least 45 minutes late, and this is on an empty slow night! Tonight was no different… tonight was no different! It wasn’t particularly busy and the restaurant seemed decently staffed for a Sunday night. Our server who was nice was super rushed and we did get our drink orders relatively quick, but food was an entirely different story! We probably got our food 45 mins after ordering and my sisters order was completely wrong! With a 2 year old and 8 month old that’s an eternity to wait for food! I honestly hate this Denny’s now and don’t want to go back. Food was mediocre and my hashbrowns were burnt!

Nothing special. This is just your average Denny’s. The food is very average. Also overpriced for how cheap you know it is to make eggs and potatoes at home. It can get pretty busy on the weekends and seating can take a while. The waiter we had was pretty good, but the check took forever to get.

Me gusta mucho el servicio, la comida. Soy muy amigables y muy atentos, y hay mucha variedad en el menú de niños, aquí siempre tienen muy limpio y siempre encuentras a alguien que te hable español.

I stopped in to try the THINGBREAKFASTBURGER. It was decent but I’m sure it world have been better if the burger inbox the sauce as advertised. So a cool dinner for breakfast.

So I ordered mozzarella sticks, but… there was only cheese in about 2 of them… and those sticks only had about half the amount of cheese a normal stick would have. When i told the waiter, all he did was laugh and take the plate to show his co-workers. I don’t mind so much that he laughed because it WAS kind of ridiculous and unbelievable… but he didn’t bother to apologize on the cook’s behalf nor did the manager say anything about it. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time I’ve had bad service or gross food here either :\

The restaurant seems very open, mostly due to a lack of standalone tables. Lots of booths available here. However, that seems to be where the niceties end. First and foremost, the smell of sewage emanating(I assume) from the bathroom was distracting and overpowering. Sadly, I did not notice it until I received my meal. Secondly, my meal was botched. Not terribly, mind you, but my order instructions were apparently taken as a rough guideline. I asked for coffee and ice water; I only received coffee. I asked for sourdough toast, but received white. Lastly, I asked for my bacon to be lightly cooked, as I do not like crispy bacon. This has never been a problem at any other Denny’s, but this one completely ignored my directive and overcooked my bacon. Not only that, but this bacon had the same appearance and texture as the precooked bacon one can find in the grocery store. Perhaps this is some new cost-cutting measure. Lastly, I had to ask for my check twice, and just received it as I was writing this review. I take my leave of this vile establishment now, as the stench from the bathroom has induced both a headache and not a small amount of nausea. Update: stuck in line behind one person. I’m waiting to pay as something appears to have gone wrong with their register. I may throw up on their counter; the smell is so bad.

They know how to do breakfast! This location always does skillets to perfection. They’re sizzling upon arrival, do over medium eggs perfectly n will comp if there’s anything wrong. They have the best mgrs! This is my favorite location.

I honestly don’t know why I write this review, when it is a chain, but nevertheless here we go. The food is simply horrific. The steaks are pink. The fish taste like sea water and is slimly. The omelets taste like rubber and the bread based«breakfast“items(I.e pancakes) taste like sugar in a dried out piece of toast, that or a soggy bread role. The drinks are also over priced and the coffee tastes like earth and cardboard. The reason for the two stars rather than one is because it is an amusing place to go in the middle of a night with a couple of friends.

I should’ve known things were going to be bad when I went to use the bathroom. The urinal was out of service and one of the toilets was plugged up. No mirror in the bathroom. Spots on the wall where the paint doesn’t match because they painted over graffiti. Felt like I was in the bathroom at the prison waiting room. Regarding the food, the broccoli cheddar soup had zero broccoli in it and did not taste like Denny’s broccoli soup. In general the food was just not as good as your average Denny’s. My daughter scrambled eggs had brown on them from being over cooked. My salmon was mushy not flaky. Worst of all my wife found a piece of corn floating in her hot chocolate. No wi-fi either? I would avoid this Denny’s.

Food is good enough, if you ever get it. Don’t come too early or too late. We actually left after our server disappeared for 30 minutes after seating us at 3:00 am. I’ve been taking 9:00 am business meetings here a few times and its been ok during that period. It’s uncool they don’t have wi-fi for customers. They have it for the employees, but they wont give out the code to customers. Now we know how we rate. Polly’s down the street has customer wi-fi, which is why I’m taking those 9:00 am meetings there now. Late night dining is now at Norm’s on Whittier Blvd. I don’t mind driving a little further for much the same food, because these other restaurants demonstrate, by customer friendly choices, that they care more and I’m more comfortable there.

The hot spot for late night cravings!!! Honestly, this place could be hectic on weekends but its still my first choice when it comes to eating late at night. The servers are slow but they satisfy your cravings! The bill is just like all the other dennys. They have 2,4,6,8 dollar specialties. And variety of things you could get in the menu. My experience here wasnt the greatest. But i do give it four stars because the environment was nice and the restaurant wasnt dirty like all the other dennys. I will be coming back since its so close to where i work!

Kids eat free in Saturday’s after 4pm. I like coming to Denny’s. I get the tilapia skillet with broccoli and my daughter gets either soup or chicken fingers. I like that kids eat free and it is a nice mommy daughter outing. Great prices and not too busy because it’s in the evening.

So the family and I went here for breakfast after mass today, it wasn’t busy at all. The waiter was so slow. The food was decent and filling. The coffee was pretty strong. My father in law had to ask the waiter for extra butter twice, it took him way too long. He also spilled coffee in my mother in law’s food. On top of all that, when I unwrapped my utensils, my fork still had a big piece of food stuck on it. That’s just unacceptable and disgusting. The waiter barely checked on us. He didn’t even bring us our check. After waiting for it for 15 mins, we finally got the manager and asked him for our check. The customer service here is completely lacking. Bottom Line: the only thing that’s good about this place is the pricing.

This Denny’s is like any other Denny’s. It has decent food, is decently kept, and is decently priced. My grandparents come here nearly everyday for breakfast because the chefs do a good job with their food. They cater to my gparents health/nutrition needs and help start their days off right The servers here absolutely rock! They are very kind and attentive. Gotta love when homies give me another water before I ask, top off my coffee constantly, and check up on how we’re doing. Don’t know bout the late night scene here but the breakfast scene is not bad at all. I usually get the ham and eggs or their omelettes. The food is cooked well. There have been a couple instances where the fries or eggs were a bit soggy but that was months ago and they’ve def upped their game since then

for a meh experience. The breakfast is good, but there is nothing spectacular about it. The place feels slightly dirty, the service is a bit slow. It’s not the best, but a $ 4 breakfast is a good deal. I would never prefer coming here, but I would not always refuse coming if someone took me.
