Stanley’s Lounge

I have been attending a confrence here for the last 2 days. We have about 24 people and they gave us a menu with a check list. They pick it up at 10:30 and our lunch is ready in the restaurant by noon. The first day was flawless. I had the chicken sandwich with fries. The breast was a little small but good. They sat us by our choice of drink, with a full pitcher in front of us. The second day was a train wreck. We got there and the food wasn’t ready. And they decided that putting the pitchers on the table was a bad idea. Probably because it was to easy. It took them about 15 minutes to get everybody their food. Except for the three they forgot. Oh, and the drinks took another 10 minutes. People were just getting up and serving themselves. They were very apologetic about the food and they got the other 3 out very quickly. The servers couldn’t have been any nicer. There were 2 of them and very overwelmed by the situation. I think they brought them down from cleaning the rooms. Lucky we were the only one’s in the place for the last two days. The food was pretty good, but I wouldn’t eat here again. From the outside you don’t even know this place is here.
