Not inexpensive but they have everything you could want from a hobby store. Convenient and knowledgeable workers make it worth the trip.

Highly recommended. If you are like me and have a lot to learn about R/C stuff then you can’t go wrong with this store. They know the products they sell and are able to advise which direction to go. When I was browsing for a low priced plane I asked what they thought about a certain model. They told me they were planning to test the model and would be able to give me a better answer after testing it. If they sell it, they know it, rare in today’s big box internet age. Good stuff is expensive, but good advice is worth more than expensive stuff. While much advanced hobby gear is for sale here, the novice enthusiast will find qualified help here getting exactly what they need to enter the new hobbyist bandwagon. Recommended for parents who want to do things with their children other than taking them to sporting events, tutoring sessions, or video sessions. Ya, you need to spend some time and money, but it’s worth it for the memories and skills gained. Oh, and some of the guys are a little tough, but don’t take it personal, in the end they are helpful. Have fun with it. Just do something.
Went in looking for a ball link and extras for a project, guy behind the counter didn’t have it and asked me what it was for, I got less then sentence out before his disinterest set in, folded his arms, rolled his eyes like I was wasting his time and cut me off with«Look, I can order it but that’s it»… If he would have listened he would have realized that he could have sold me ANY ball link plus all the extras for my project, but instead he decided to be not helpful or friendly. i had a lot more to buy there but i was so turned off by his attitude i just walked out. No wonder I was the only one in the store. EISH! Small Business: 0, Amazon: 1.

I am into R/C helicopters and planes. The place is fairly small but that’s fine. Most of the stuff — even little things like props and hardware — is behind the counter. You have to ask if they have things in stock and then someone has to go look for it and pull it down! If I have a small plastic horn and I need to test fit music wire he’s gotta get some and let me try it. I just can’t try it on my own. So I asked about some of the tiny dubro parts. Turns out they get stolen a lot. So now they are behind the counter. Who steals $ 20 worth of tiny little hardware that only has 1 purpose! Shame on those modelers. I remember hearing how grumpy the people are and when I went in there– it seemed to be true. BUT. I think it’s a front. After a few minutes, both people(owners?) were actually pretty nice. It’s just an act it seems. I can imagine owning a small hobby shop, getting kids oohing and aahhing, wanting to try things, then leaving. r/c is expensive. So all in all, They have some of the things I need and they’re not a bad bunch of guys, but I have a few shops I might go to first.
