Okay — so the TV ad says they are going out of business and everything must go. We drive 40 minutes and find a huge pawn shop with a ton of guns, jewelry, DVDs, CDs, tools, etc. Really — a TON of things to choose from. My problem is that three weeks after advertising they are closing most things in the shop are just 20% off. That’s not much. Especially when they have everything priced about 50% too high to start with. $ 200 for a Pikachu N64 that Amazon sells all day long for $ 40-$ 80. $ 5 — $ 8 for used CDs that were so scratched you just knew they wouldn’t play and then they get offended when you show them the scratches and ask for a little off the price. They can keep their stuff. The economy is too bad to pay top dollar at a pawn shop that doesn’t seem to care if they sell anything or not.
