Leithold Music

Have been using Leitholds since the 1980s. For myself/​siblings, and now my family. Sadly, both my children are using their rental program for band. This program allows you to rent indefinitely, and use up to two years of rental payments as credit towards the purchase of an instrument.
Rental Information that wasn’t noted :
My son has a trumpet he has rented for a few years, but received a cheap student one for Christmas. We have continued to rent and own for 3+ months, but cannot afford to do so since my husband lost his job. I went to return the rental and ask about their credit of two years rent towards the purchase of a trumpet. I had hoped next year we could buy him a nice instrument. Leitholds will not allow me to hold the credit until we have the money. They do not have any intermediate trumpets to purchase, and they will not allow me to use the credit towards a used professional option. Additionally when I asked about renting until a suitable option becomes available, they said they cant guarantee that will have any options outside of purchasing a very expensive professional grade model, immediately (to use the credit). The only option is use the $ 480 credit now on something far advanced we cant afford and don’t need, or lose it).
