I ate here on a taco tuesday and thought it was pretty good. The crunchy chicken taco was great but a little oily. But hey it’s a crunchy taco what do you expect. My gf had the fish taco and she liked it as well. This place uses big chunks of fish for their tacos which I think is a plus. She also had the shrimp taco but didn’t think it was anything special. Note: A lot of people came in while I was eating and ordered the guacamole; it’s sold by the tub and apparently is well recommended.

Eh, I’m not surprised they closed. It was the worst mexican restaurant I’ve been to. However, their chimichanga was god like. When I ordered, I was expecting chimichanga that look like taquitos, but it was a fried burrito. I miss it since it is conveniently located around the corner.

I like the location, it is a very cute setting. If you are driving or walk on the main street, the restaurant is upstairs. But when you go inside the Vons supermarket parking lot to park your car, the place is just ground level. The view if you sit outside is so beautiful, but they don’t have a lot of tables outside. The service is great, friendly, energetic, and very helpful. The food are great, they have the best Avocado Salsa and my favorite is their Chocolate Empanada. That is a MUST!!! The décor is artistic, creative, and colorful.

I was running errands in my neighborhood and happened to pass by Los Rapidos on Foothill and noticed their huge banner that said«TACOTUESDAYS» and it got me in the mood for a nice shrimp taco! I walk in and I’m immediately greeted by 3 of the employees behind the counter, one of which sees me eyeing the Taco Tuesday Specials Menu and starting describing each of the items and their ingredients, toppings, sauces, what have you… They have Crispy Tacos with beef, chicken or barbacoa at $ 1.25/ pc TJ Street Tacos with chicken, barbacoa, carnitas or steak at $ 1.49−1.69/pc…this is made straight up with just a corn tortilla, onions, and cilantro Gringo Tacos with chicken, barbacoa, carnitas or steak at $ 1.59−1.79/pc…this is the«Americanized» taco made with a flour tortilla, meat, lettuce, cheese, and pico de gallo Killer Shrimp Taco at $ 1.99/pc…comes with a adobo, tomato-based sweet sauce, topped with cabbage and cheese… pretty good I must say! Fish Taco at $ 1.99/pc…comes with fried strips of fish, topped with cabbage… the fish could have been a little fresher but still good. They also have a combo deal on Taco Tuesdays: 2 beef, chicken, or barbacoa tacos with rice, beans, salsa and chips for $ 4.99! Pretty great deal for lunch. I’ll be back… probably not for dinner but definitely for a lunch on-the-go!

I have only had their burritos but each time I have had no complaints. Real good food and friendly service. They have a pretty good salsa bar too.

Pretty good place if you want some faster Mexican food. I compare it to chipotle but I feel it is much better and less«the in thing so it is good» and actual relies on it’s food to stand out. Burritos there are always packed and taste really good. My favorite is the barbacoa(sp?) because it has the perfect amount of sweet

Two words: Avocado Salsa!!! Best salsa around, seriously! I put it on everything! I usually get the street tacos, carnitas, barbacoa, chicken, it doesn’t matter what kind of meat you want to put in the tacos, its really good. I also love their house salsa, which I love to indulge in chips and salsa with. They also make a mean tostada, which is also a favorite of mine. Great salsa bar too, my favorite in town by far. A great place to go when I’m on my lunch break!

The food is okay, basic Mexican take out. I have been here several times, but it is never my choice. The food is large, and they are generous with their chips. The salsa bar is nice. The people are nice as well. They seem to get the orders correct. The guac is great! It is not super cheap for take out mexican but not super expensive either. The reason why I am giving it three stars is because their food is nothing special, but also just okay. There are tons of fast food mexican take out places, and this is one I would never choose.

This restaurant has excellent Mexican food. Everything is great, but my favorite are the carnitas street tacos with lots of cilantro and onions. They have a nice salsa bar. The fish or shrimp tacos are also very good. They have a beautiful view of the mountains too.

This place definitely doesn’t deserve 3 stars. The servers are very nice and anything with barbacoa meat is amazing. I usually get a perfect burrito with barbacoa.

Good salsa bar with big, tasty enchiladas really hit the spot. Throw in some generous helpings of chips and this is a place that can fill you up without the need for too much cabbage. Two thumbs para ti.

I am a fan. Our office is across the street so I eat here weekly. Tostadas are very good, but my favorites are the shrimp tacos and the Barbacoa Burritos. The price is right and the guacamole is excellent.

Am I the only person that liked this place? I was in the area for work and saw the sign ‘taco tuesday’ so I went in and got three tacos. The barbacoa was tasty an hearty and the steak gringo taco was tasty and large. It was empty and had the whole faux-mexico pastels vibe going on but the staff seemed friendly enough.

I just came back from this place, and my stomach is queasy from the gross food. I didn’t intend to end up here. I had fish taco cravings today. I went to Best Fish Taco in Ensenada, which was closed for Easter. I then went to Fish King, which was also closed. I ordered 1 fish taco, 1 shrimp taco and a drink. The total was $ 8.19. Total rip off. First, I received stale chips. The avocado salsa was good, so I ate them while waiting for my tacos. I tasted the shrimp taco first. It was doused in some awful sweet and sour sauce. I almost thought I was in a $ 1.99 Chinese restaurant. The shrimps were the tiny and rubbery. As soon as I bit into the fish taco, I knew it wasn’t fresh. It had that distinct aftertaste that’s evidence of fish that’s been sitting out too long. I suspect that it’s frozen fish. I would never return here. I’m disappointed in myself for even eating the tacos.

This place is decent, a bit pricy and they rip you off for small extras. I only really get one thing here, and its their barbacoa which ive never seen anywhere else then here. Its like a tangy sweet sauce over pork and i love it. Other then that the menu is not to diverse just typical mexican, but its not bad only a tad expensive.

the food tastes ok, closes lamely at 9pm and rip u off 2 extra bucks for ‘pico de gallo’ instead of chopped tomatoes on a taco. and what’s their pico de gallo? chopped tomatoes, with bits of onions and speckles of cilantro. what a scam… hell taco bell has same ingredients and taste for less
