Breakfast burritos have a special place in my heart. I’m sucker for them whenever I see it on a menu, or in this case, on Everest’s sign proclaiming«Breakfast Burritos Served All Day.» I immediately pulled in like flies on sh*t(I know, not the best analogy for a food review, but it works), and I’ve been coming back here ever since. The breakfast burritos here are good and reasonably priced($ 5-$ 6). While I’ve had better, Everest just keeps it simple, and I like that. 3 eggs, cheese, potatoes, and your choice of any meat(ham, sausage, bacon, etc.). Every ingredient is perfectly apportioned, especially the potatoes, which at some places can be overwhelming, but not here. You also have the option of not getting any meat and just adding veggies i.e. tomatoes, bell-peppers, mushrooms, and avocados. To make that burrito extra special, they have a salsa bar. I personally love pouring the red salsa into my burrito. Mmmm tasty. The carrot pickles are also quite good. I truly enjoy my experience each time I come here. Customer service is superb as well. Keep up the good work, guys.

The interior is pretty clean and the employees are pleasant in their own quiet way. The food is good but a little oily so you can never eat too much. For example, their breakfast burritos are so yummy but I eat half of it and then feel a tad sick from all the oil. Otherwise the other menu foods are good… Haven’t tried the pastrami or the burgers

First time here. Nice juicy pastrami sandwich, with the dipping sauce. Yumm! The turkey club with fries is great too. HUGE portions! We had half for lunch, took the other half home for dinner.

This place has really good fast food but I’m giving it 2 stars because their service is awful. Almost every time I come here they mess up my order or forgets something.(I come about once a week!) This is really frustrating especially when there’s always a 20 min or longer wait. The staff really needs to get it together. They are friendly but I shouldn’t have to remind you of my order every time I come to your establishment, it’s a bit much. You can’t have great food and bad service. It makes me not want to come back

Fast food means, quick service. Quick service with a pleasant smile. Yummy Bacon Burritos makes my breakfast heavy and satisfied. Chilli Cheese Fries completes my meal. Neat order counter makes me impressed. Love the price and food are amazing. Love to come back again.

Fast food joint that is clean, efficient looking w/quick, fast service w/a nice smile & nod at least by the pleasant, young, bearded man w/huge diamond pave ear plugs for the modern primitive look. It made me think that there may be a tattoo parlour within the premises & want to get a small, tasteful tattoo while waiting for the Pastrami Dip sandwich. Well, the Pastrami came in less than 5 minutes wrapped in layers of brown wax paper. Hefty in weight, thick w/layers of ultra thinly cut moist pastrami beef. The aromas it emitted were impressive, garlicky, black pepper, kind of roasted, beefy, meaty. However like some wines that have a heady, fruit filled, lush, extravagant attack on the nose & then leave you stranded w/flavours that are too austere & plain, the Pastrami meat at Everest doesn’t match the initial fragrances that seemed to promise meatier, more herb/spice balanced flavours. The pastrami, to me, was rather bland dressed w/a bit of what looked like pedestrian, neon yellow French’s mustard & sliced butter pickles. The bread was also bland w/no real bouquet of pleasant yeasty baked aroma. The outside is rather dry, but the inside of the bread is characterlessly soft. The«au jus» dipping sauce seems to be reconstituted from beef bouillon cubes infused w/what may be dried herbs of sage, thyme, & marjoram. I’ve been spoiled by eating on occasion at Langer’s Deli near Mac Arthur Park near downtown L.A. which may serve the most iconic Pastrami sandwich west of the Mississippi River if not the Hudson River. The strong yet delicate aroma of well cured beef w/hints of fresh cloves, allspice, garlic and on good fragrant, substantial rye bread unfortunately makes the Pastrami at Everest pale in comparison. Nothing personal, the Hat too slides down the scale compared to the artisanal nature that is Langer’s. However, going to DTLA from La Crescenta makes no sense when the stomach demands action now. 3+ Unilocal stars for providing almost instant gratification in the Crescenta Valley.

My family decided to buy food for breakfast outside .We tried their drive thru service, but we stayed there for 10mins. still everyone is in the hurry. We choose to have our breakfast inside. In fairness, service is fast. My kids love to eat large fries zucchini, trying to eat healthy and vegetables, avocado bacon burger added for them, Yummy french toast and burrito with bacon, sausage and ham was my favorite. thanks for the food. Love the fried zucchini more than I can say. I actually sometimes just need to stop by for the zucchini. The smaller order is enough for at least two people. I love their bacon cheeseburger and my four year old loves the junior cheeseburger as long as it only has ketchup. Shocking, right? The French fries and the ranch dip are also fabulous and come in large quantity. The chicken taquitos are a favorite snack of mine too as they come with melted cheese on top and some guacamole. Four stars is because the wait is often very long, and the guacamole could be better. Also, the carne asada is hit or miss.

So there are a few burger joints in this area and I am yet to understand why Everest is not packed. Here are my thoughts and opinions: — you have Yakis — great for Teriyaki burgers — you have Tommys — great for chilli burgers — you have in n out — great if you like to stay in line for 30+ mins, even though I personally think Everest has better burgers(that comment in LA can get you killed…) Which brings me to my review with Everest… They seriously have really good food! It doesn’t taste like a generic fast food restaurant. It tastes like they use fresh ingredients to make legit fresh food. That beings said, I ordered a bacon avocado burger combo. I got a BANG! Pina Colada drink(which seriously tastes soooooo good! Sugar counselor probably thinks I should die if she only knew how sweet that thing tasted). The burger was bomb! It had fresh everything and you can taste it! The fries were overload for me… I finished only a portion of it. Their fries are really good also. I’ve had other items on their menu and seriously I’m yet to think something tastes bad or is disgusting. If you’re looking for legit fast food, you don’t want to sit in a 30+ minute line and want to really taste an amazing burger, chicken tender, fries… This is the place to come guys. If you haven’t tried it… Try it! I think you’ll love it!

DISGUSTING! I ordered a avocado bacon cheeseburger from the drive thru half an hour before Everest was closing. I came home & opened my burger took a bite and realized my burger was so dry the meat was old and it had dark avocados which were really old. I couldn’t even eat my dinner! Nasty. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat burgers from this place.

Been coming here for 8 years since it is in my area and everything is perfect. The service, the food and the price. Want the best burger you have ever gotten! Try the 2⁄3 lbs bacon avocado cheeseburger with pastrami. ITSHUGE! but so satisfying!!! This place deserves more credit than they get. There breakfast burritos are also on point!

Well I think Everest is a really good burger place. The drive-thru was only 6 mins. With 4– cars in front of me at 11am on Sat. Very nice. The large Fried Mushrooms where not greasy and they give you massive amounts of them, Yummy. The Chili-Cheese Fries are Awesome! again Lots of Fries. I ordered a Pastrami Cheese Burger and Wow! I Loved it. I shared all this great food at work with 2– other friends and it fed us all! My friends all asked about this new place I found. They really liked it. The girls at the window very very nice and smiling faces. I will give them 4-Stars If they clean or update there terrible menu in the Drive-Thru which is cloudy and hard to read I might give them another Star I will come back here many times. Right in the middle of Crescenta Vally makes it a Perfect Location.

I’m updating this as I LOVE their garden burger but finally got to try their vegetarian burrito and was NOT a fan. They seem to use ‘chili style beans’ instead of plain pinto and I almost threw up because I’m not a fan of the flavors of chili beans(not sure if complete meat free because the taste threw me off) plus in a burrito? My stomach was not feeling it.

We’ve come here a few more times since my last review over a year ago and, may I just say. yum. *Burgers — Tasty! We get the Junior Cheeseburger because the regular size is just too big for us. *Pastrami Chili Cheese Fries — Yaaas. And hello, the large size is enough for probably 4 people, no joke. We had it for leftovers for 2 days. * Carne Asada Taco Salad — Surprisingly good! *Jamaica, Pina Colada, Orange Bang, Horchata — the mere fact that they have these is a plus plus in my book *Fried Mushrooms — YES. Go. Yes. The large size is enough for at LEAST3 – 4 people as a side. *Fries — Good. a bit thin for my taste, but still good. *Drive thru — Fairly friendly/fast-ish. Check your food before driving off, though. *Ranch — Yummy. * Chicken Tenders — Tasty! If we’re passing by(which isn’t too often), we tend to hit this place up. I’ll have to try the new one on Glendale too. ;)

The hubby and I came here for burgers last night and I was impressed by their vegetarian garden burger. The patty was delicious and not dry. It only came with lettuce and tomato but I added the pickles and onions. They add their house dressing which is basically mayo, mustard, and BBQ sauce. I’d probably skip the BBQ sauce next time. Appreciate them getting my super complicated order right. Fries were tasty and crispy. I wouldn’t dine in since it’s totally a fast food place and I am a germaphobe but great place for take out.

Everest is not your typical burger joint. They have everything from a classic burger to grilled cheese to breakfast burrito… What??? It’s amazing. From their burgers to even their huge salads. My gosh, it’s almost as great as home grilled patties on the grill. The freshness of the meat, bread, and vegetables as amazing. Even their sauces are fresh. What irritates me is that the thousand island’s spread is .15 cents. Luckily I carry coins on me almost always, which is why I never have a problem. But I highly doubt everyone has coins in their pockets all the time. I love the avocado chicken club here. I don’t eat pork so I get it without the bacon. Their salads are fresh and fulfilling. Makes a great lunch because it will keep you full throughout the day. The fried zucchinis are also a favorite. The stars are geared towards their fries. Even a small is a large and a large is an extra large. You can NEVER have enough fries, which is why Everest will always have a special place in my heart. Fresh food and fresh fries conveniently located. This is the reason I’ve been coming here for years and will continue coming.
