Very nice renovation over the winter. Much needed change of vibe. Great old diner feel. Great diner food and fantastic breakfast. They also own Beach House Burgers. Best burger on island.

The food was really good. The only problem was that in the men’s room, there was no sink to wash your hands. We went for breakfast. I got biscuits and gravy and an omelette with ham and bacon. The biscuits and gravy tasted really good, but the gravy was very heavy so I didn’t eat a lot. The omelette was cooked very well. There was only one problem with the bacon, it was a little burnt. The waitress was very nice, and helped out with special orders for the kids. Other than those problems, it was good diner.

Unfortunately today was a huge disappointment compared to last time. I got a burger that was like shoe leather. Not a drop of juice whatsoever. And the fries were just awful, overcooked and dry. What a shame. A diner should have amazing burgers and fries. Not so much here.

Most everything on the menu is fried. If you have allergies, this is your worst nightmare. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. For what it cost and what I received, it was dissapointing; as well as not very good. A very awesome waitress I have to say! She in no way reflects on the culinary skills of the kitchen. I guess if you want crappy food, hog up to the trough.

Good little lunch dinner… Friendly wait staff. Nice and cool when the beach gets too hot! Burgers were ok… But I recommend the Ruben!

Can I please give this place 6 stars? We ate there 4 or 5 times and the food is high quality and the service is very good and friendly. Good for breakfast or dinner.

A perfect lunch spot! The menu is split between your regular dinner fare and seafood. Believe the hype about the hush puppies, they are on point! The staff is very inviting! This place should be a staple for any trip to KB!

I’m from Jersey… diners are my thing! I love finding breakfast spots when we’re traveling so on our day trip adventure to Kure Beach, this diner was a MUST. We ended up getting there later in the day. However, a name with«diner» in it had me craving breakfast. They don’t serve breakfast all day! COMEON! It’s a DINER! That should be a given. Boooo! So that was a huge turn off and put me in a bad mood. BUT, delicious hush puppies(they are known for them) and an adorable waitress helped out. All around, the food was good(shout out again to those awesome hush puppies) and the staff was great. Again…a DINER should serve BREAKFAST all DAY. Just sayin.

I really enjoyed breakfast here on a Friday morning. The coffee was great and fresh tasting. There was no wait and the server took our order in a timely fashion. I ordered French toast with a side of grits with cheese and my mom ordered a sausage and cheese biscuit with a side of grits too. It came out very quickly. The grits were perfection. The portion of French toast was huge and delicious. The biscuit was also the largest I’ve ever seen and my mom said it was very good. I will definitely return to this cute beach front diner in the future for breakfast and I would like to try their lunch soon as well.

Amazing amazing! Great bacon-perfectly cooked. Hush puppies while you wait for your food. BLT is the best I’ve ever had. No, really.

We had a great breakfast experience this weekend. The restaurant is small and cozy. The hostess and server were very friendly. My family loved the pancakes, grits, biscuits, and bacon. I counted a total of 14 tables in the restaurant, and they were full so get there early. The food was a little slow, but it was worth the wait. We will be back for sure.

Great place for a meal at the Kure Beach Pier. Locally family owned and operated, which I appreciate. Small place but they were able to accommodate our group of 7 for breakfast. All of us enjoyed our meals ranging from sausage biscuit with gravy to pancakes with a side of home fries, which I had. Great waitress, coffee refilled regularly, food served hot. I only made it for breakfast but others in the group went back for lunch and gave a good report.

I wasn’t expecting a lot because the fabled hush puppies were a bit sweet for my taste. But, the burgers are OMG good and the service is fast and friendly. We’ll be back.

We’ve stopped here to get take out twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast and the food was good, not great but service was not good. Both times the person at the front was not friendly and made it a point to tell me what I couldn’t get first’ as in I couldn’t get a breakfast platter to go, only breakfast sandwiches. She did say she didn’t understand why that was a rule but it was. There were only 2 waitresses both times that I saw and the place was full(very small inside) so they were working them hard. It’s convenient since we wanted to eat on the pier but next time we will eat somewhere else and then walk out on the pier afterwards.

We were in town for July 4th and decided to stop here for breakfast before heading to the beach. The cashier/hostess was not very friendly. No hello or acknowledgement when we walked in the door we waited until she asked«how many?». We were seated and then greated by a very lovely waitress. She was sweet and quick. My husband ordered the french toast which was decent. The syrup was not so great so he ate it dry. I ordered two eggs over easy with home fries, bacon and a biscuit. They were out of home fries so they gave me a biscuit with gravy instead. The eggs were cooked to perfection! The biscuit was nice, flaky and buttery, but the gravy was TERRIBLE. I may be front New York but I know good food. The biscuits and gravy were much much better at Granny’s down the block. When it came time to pay the bill the same Hostess from earlier came to the register took the check rang it in and told us our total. She didn’t ask us how the food was or anything just $xx.xx and«we don’t take American Express» so we paid and left. We will not be returning here.

I stopped in for breakfast and had a western omelet with home fries. It was a busy morning and there was a wait… but that is to be expected. I went back that same day for dinner and enjoyed the Ruben sandwich. Certainly one of the lower cost options at Kure Beach.

Cute little ON the beach place, by the pier. Service was good, waitresses were pleasant. Food was tasty, hot and fresh! I ordered a burger and fries. My hubby got a flounder filet sandwich and fries. Hush-puppies they serve before ordering are incredibly good. The restaurant grade posted was 100, which is always a welcome sight as you walk in the door! When we are in the area, we will come back.
