Pudges is no joke. Their cheesesteaks and hoagies are fully loaded AND taste delicious. Even the regular size is enough for two meals. The quality of food and the amount you get for the price is awesome.

Let me say this first – I’m a born and raised Jersey Girl, and even though I’ve lived in PA for over 15 years, I refuse to call it a «hoagie»! It’s always going to be a SUB to me!
Had the Ultra Pork sandwich which is roast pork (served warm), cooked spinach and melted sharp provolone cheese. The sandwich was packed FULL of roast pork. Pudge’s is definitely not skimpy in that regard. While the sandwich was good overall, it was very bland in taste. The pork had no seasoning and if you don’t season spinach, then it doesn’t taste very good. I had to add some adobo seasoning to give it some taste. That seemed to do the trick, and it was a good sandwich. Having said all of this, I will definitely give them another try but with something else.

Best cheese steak that I’ve had in a long time. Very good french fries (huge portion) too. They have a very varied menu that I intend to wade through in the coming years. Big taste in a small shop.

As a huge (self-​proclaimed) cheesesteak aficionado, I am a big fan of Pudge’s cheesesteaks.
Not much to say besides that the bread is solid (nice and chewy), the meat portions are generous, and the cheese is tasty. The best part is, you’re not over-​paying as you do with the other famous cheesesteak places.
I also love that you can grab a few beers next door and bring it to Pudge’s. You obviously cannot do that with the famous Philly cheesesteak places.
The staff here is extremely friendly which makes the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Definitely would frequent this place often if I lived nearby.

I have are here many times. Better cheesesteaks than in philly! Today I’m eating the turkey hogie. It’s more than I wanted to eat I am eating it all because it’s so good.

Pudges cheesesteaks are great ate there last week with my wife the service was fantastic we shared a cheesesteak it was made to order fresh roll and lots of cheese and packed with meat. We ordered the food and it was served very fast. The wait was not long at all. We also ordered cheese fries they were done just right. I will be stopping by here again to eat.

The rolls are fresh daily from Conshocken Italian Bakery, the 12in steaks have 13oz of ribeye and are full of cheese and flavor! You will likely need a fork and a second stomach to finish one of these colossal sandwiches. Ordering an Italian hoagie for the first time today. Will post pics and update post lunch. Take out today!

Best cheesesteak and sub shop in the area. Nice variety. Take out or sit down. This is a quaint and simple little sandwich shop. Nothing fancy, but great food. One of a few options worthwhile in Towamencin.

Excellent steaks. I have NEVER found a single piece of gristle in any steak I have ever gotten from Pudge’s. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. The meatball parm is also very good. Maybe not the greatest but good flavor and lots of meat on all sandwiches. The only thing close to a complaint is when you get pepperoni on a steak, they don’t always chop and mix it that well with the steak on the grill. Occasional large stack of pepperoni followed by half of a sandwich with none. Overall, 1 of my favorites for steaks.

Love love love Unilocal.We try very hard to not hit franchise chains when on vacation, because we own a family-​run restaurant ourselves. Unilocal helps us find the hidden gems! Pudge’s was delicious. Hubby had the classic cheese steak and said it was great with a mountain of fries. I wasn’t as hungry as he was and tried the wedding soup, that was also great, looked home-​made and hit the spot.

So excited that we lucked out buying a house just a mile from a true cheesesteak spot like Pudge’s. Love their cheesesteaks, roast pork, and hoagies. Add in some hot peppers and onion rings and you’re in heaven. Love how low-​key this place is. It feels like Philly here and I appreciate it. They also support the community, being a part of the General Nash discount card program, offering a 10% with the card. Love it. I’ll be a regular here for what I hope are years to come!

My first visit to Pudge’s will certainly not be my last! The waitress and staff were super friendly and the food was PHENOMENAL– good service and quality food always gets an A+ in my book. We ordered the chicken cheesesteak and regular cheesesteak with mayo, onions and wiz… both were super tasty! The rolls were amazing and the portions were huge so come hungry. Will certainly be back and recommend!

Their cheese is delicious! So is their ‘red’ sauce. But I prefer the cheesesteak as is. (no sauce)

I love the atmosphere here — colleagues, hanging out, getting their manwiches on. aweyeah.
The servers are also cheerful and are very welcoming.
I dont think I’ll ever get past their cheesesteaks here — but the rest of their stuff smells and looks SO tempting.
This place is simple — Quick food. filling. No bullshit, waste of time. Your get what you order.
