Red Koi Collection

I love perusing Red Koi (after dinner and before Lappert’s)!
They have great gift items along with beautiful artwork that I hope to fill my home with one day!

The Red Koi Collection is one of the many elegant little shops in the Kukui’ula Shoping Village near Poipu beach in Kauai. We had walked to the shopping center from our vacation rental at the Waikomo Streams Villa #122 that we found through the Parish Collection Kauai. We did not rent a car since we are only here for the holiday weekend and we just wanted to relax and see if we could find some good food. We had no idea what we would find at this lovely little outdoor shopping center. We went into the Red Koi entranced by some of the beautiful paintings in the window. I would have put this store in the Boutique category if there had been a Boutique category. More than a gallery this little shop had a great collection of all kinds of beautiful things. The art by the local artists was very nice, quite a few different types of artwork to chose from. I happened to find this precious little necklace which the owner said was created by hand from an Israeli artist. It was so precious and sweet I had to get a pair of earrings to wear with it. The owner of this shop definitely has an eye for unique things. We also found some jewelry created from the seed pod of a local flower. These seeds have a grey velvet quality. The seeds are picked, and then dried for one year before being made into this soft warm jewelry. There are a lot of cute shops in this center but this collection was by far my favorite!
