When we vacationed in Kauai in May of this year, Ms. Terrie took care of our 3 year-​old son for about 5 hours, while my husband and I went on a tour. She was on time, she brought a bagful of toys for our son, and she was really sweet and nice. Our son had a great time with her. He even asked if «Auntie Terrie» is going to come back the following day. Overall, we were glad we found her. We highly recommend Childcare Kauai. When we go back to Kauai, we will definitely get in touch with Ms. Terrie again!

We traveled to Kauai for the first time and we needed someone to watch our 2 boys while we zip-​lined. After looking at several companies we choose Terrie. So glad we did. She was on time and ready. Our boys couldn’t stop talking about all the activities she did with them. They absolutely had a blast. She didn’t just have them watching tv. She took them outside to enjoy the Hawaiian weather played games and took them to the pool. She also made them breakfast and lunch. Can’t wait to return to Kauai and when we do, we know who to call to watch our boys. We highly recommend Childcare Kauai! Can’t say enough good things about Terrie!

We needed a babysitter during our recent 9-​day trip to Kauai and were happy to be connected with Terrie. She was highly recommended by our resort and we could not be more pleased with her service. We were a bit reluctant to leave our 4 ½ month-​old with someone new but Terrie made us feel comfortable from the start. She’s very much that mother-​type figure that you could tell has a lot of experience with children. She took care of our little guy last Thursday evening while we attended a luau, and then we called up on her again a few days later when we took a helicopter ride and paddle board lesson. Thank you Terrie! Hopefully we will see you again!

Where to begin… my family had the pleasure of meeting Terrie and having her watch my 16mos old son for a full week between Christmas and New Years. By the end of the trip, she was part of the family. She was very engaged with our son — bringing her own toys that were perfectly matched to his development stages and interests. Whether it was putting him down to bed, feeding him dinner, or taking care of him for a full day while we enjoyed a epic hike — Terrie had it covered. There was no task too big or too small — and she always had a smile on her face. As soon as we re-​book our next trip, we’ll book Terrie! You’re lucky if you have the chance to use Childcard Kauai when you visit the island.

We traveled to Kauai for our anniversary and wanted to have a couple of hours to horseback ride and relax at the beach. We contacted Terrie a few days before our trip and she was available. She was super flexible with her hours, always on time and our daughter absolutely loved her — so much that it’s the next morning and my daughter is asking for Terrie instead of the beach or swimming pool! Terrie brought a bag of toys and gave our daughter her undivided attention for a total of 12 hours over three days. She left the toys, too, so our daughter had some additional entertainment when she was away. She took her to the pool and for walks around the resort. She bathed her and dressed her and gave her snacks and milk as requested. It was a great experience, one that I was nervous about at first because our daughter is only two. But my daughter asking for her each day and being excited to see her speaks for itself! I would recommend Terrie and use her again in a heartbeat!

We just returned home from yet another wonderful vacation in Kauai. First we stayed several days in Princeville and then down to Poipu. It was me, my husband and our two children, ages 3 ½ and 6 years old. We thought with an 11 day vacation, 2 date nights would be nice. Last year we arranged for Terrie to watch our kids twice as well. Once for a day trip so we can go zip lining and the other for a dinner out at Dukes. She was fantastic. Right away I was very pleased with her demeanor and how quickly the kids took to her. Beth watched our kids up in Princeville and was very attentive to them. When we arrived home that evening around 9:30 or so, Beth was sitting on the floor between the two bedrooms making sure the kids felt secure in a new place. I was thrilled she took such care to make sure they were comfortable. Terrie joined us again in Poipu and brought her infamous suitcase of toys. The kids remembered it from last year. Again, they reported having a great time and wonderful conversation with Terrie. I highly recommend Terrie and her team.

I was very happy with the child care most importantly my three year old son Rocco was very happy and comfortable with the staff of child care kauai. They treated him with such love and care he felt right at home and didnt seem to miss me at all. I was just happy he was safe and well taken care of and having fun. The best thing about child care kauai is their love seemed genuine for my son

My family and I stayed at a vacation rental near Kapaa with a pool. My husband and I have always wanted to kayak on the Wailua river and wouldn’t be able to take our three young daughters, ages 6, 3, and 2. I contacted Terrie through her website and was pleased with the quick response and flexibility. This was the first time we were to have a «stranger» whom I had never met before, so we were REALLY skeptical. Terrie watched our three children for about 6 hours and our kids loved every minute of it. Terrie brought all kinds of toys for them to play with, painted with the 6 and 3 year olds and blew bubbles with our 2 year old. She had them eat lunch and swam with them in the afternoon. When she left, our girls kept asking when Aunty Terrie was coming back? ChildCare Kauai has our highest approval rating, and recommends Terrie to all our family and friends.

We went to Kauai last December with our two year old daughter. Because we wanted to go scuba diving we had to find a sitter and we found the best.
Terrie watched out little one every day for a week. She was very flexible about the times and always on time, came with toys and books fitting for the age and had so many fun ideas what to do in the hotel room and at the resort.
When we had to leave we were sad not only because we had to leave the island but also the best sitter we ever had. There’s no question if we should go back to Kauai we’ll call Terrie again.
