Kokomo Fish Chicken & Gyros

Order it every week at work, the chicken is puts kfc to shame. Staff is friendly and always have the food done on time. Will continue to support this local company with great food

Had drivien by this place a few times, seems it has been opened for at least a few months, but not much business in the parking lot. I went in and the first thing that hit me was the smell. It smelled musty, like it needed to be aired out.badly. I almost left, but I wanted to give it a try. I really wanted the gyros and they have colored, paper menus laying about. I ordered 2 gyros sandwiches, 2 medium fries and an order of huspuppies. I tried to order lemon cake, but was informed that they don’t have desserts yet. The girl took my payment and told me it would be about 10 minutes. I said okay and sat down at one of the tables. It seemed there were only two people working. The wait was more than 20 minutes. The drive-​thru has no menu board, you just have to drive up to the window and order. I got the food home though and the food was really good. Some of the hushpuppies were undercooked, but the gyros were very tasty. I hope they get their stuff together to make the inside more inviting and work on getting that smell out. My husband liked the food also, but I told him there was no way he would want to eat in there, especially due to the order.
