The first time i came here I wasnt overly impressed but I can say that it was absolutely because I didnt get steak!!! If you come here, steak is definitely their specialty! I had a 9oz filet cooked medium well. Typically medium well and well done steaks are somewhat on the drier sides at restaurants(especially filets) but this steak was so juicy, sooo tender, cooked perfectly, and the seasoning on it was amazing! This is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had at a restaraunt and if I lived in Knoxville, it would be my go to place for steak. My waiter Brandon was pretty awesome too last night.

The sandwich was good. .and the tenders were good. I was truly going for some great ahi tuna app… cause the picture shows exactly what you would want. Wrong. …I got for one inch thick pieces, over cooked, and on a bed of cuscus. …flaky, dry, and just horrible. Their food is great otherwise. .just don’t order the ahi tuna.

Went in for the first time this past Saturday night with wifey. At the recommendation of the server, tried the new fried ribs app. It was very good, a little sweet, so if you don’t like sweet, you might not like these. I had the NY strip with the blue butter and merlot glaze and wife had the small sirloin with sauteed mushrooms. Both steaks were perfectly cooked medium as requested and were tender and delicious. Baked potatoes were good, house salad was good. Overall, the food was very good and on the food alone, it probably ranked 4 stars. Took a slice of chocolate mousse cake home and it was very good. But…the service was lacking. Once we were seated, our server(can’t remember his name, young guy with a beard) came over and seemed very eager to take our drink order despite them having a very limited selection of wine, beer and cocktails since this location doesn’t have a bar. We were planning to have wine but had not made a decision until we decided what to eat. When he came back, we ordered the app and wine. He brought the app but no small plates to eat over. We were almost done with the app when he brought our wine explaining that they opened a new bottle and broke the cork and he had to get the cork out of the wine. Whatever. We placed our meal order and they brought the salads shortly thereafter. Sometime while eating our salad, he asked us(again) if we wanted bread to which we(again) replied yes and finally received our bread when we were almost done with our salads. He did not come back to check on us or clear the table while between the salad and the entrée. When our food came out on very hot plates, I felt bad for the runner because our salad plates were still on the table and she was very ready to set those hot plates down. Wife’s steak arrived without baked potato and I eventually had to flag him down into the kitchen because he was just too busy talking back there. I’m watching other servers attentively taking care of their tables and this guy is back there jawing with the manager and the females as if that was his job. We weren’t in a big hurry, but it took forever to get our plates cleared once finished, longer to get the check and pay. It was like he just didn’t care. Left him a 15% tip, should’ve left 10%. In summary, the food was good, but pricey. When you are spending $ 107 on dinner, you expect good service and it wasn’t there. Don’t know if I’ll go back to this location or another in the future.

We came from out of town visiting a friend who recommended this steak house. The waitress, Amber was very friendly and courteous. The food was amazing and when asked if they do military discount it was better than the usual discount at any other restaurants we’ve been to! I recommend this place if you are ever in the Tennessee area.

Me, my wife and my two step kids and friend went to this establishment and had a really good visit. Our waitress Melanie was very kind and very helpful. The only thing that we didn’t like was that our food wasn’t hot. We will definitely be back here to eat.

A little pricey, but good food. I had the 10 once steak and was cooked exactly the way I wanted. Only complaint is which they had some better side options than loaded baked potato. Wife had the seafood Alfredo and actually had a good amount of crab and lobster in it.

While the wife and I were on the way to Gatlinburg, we wanted to stop, stretch our legs, and grab a good lunch meal. We try to stay away from chains as much as possible, so we saw this place and stopped in. We were greeted immediately upon walking in, and checked the menu to see if there was something we would like. Plenty of options, not too pricey, and the place wasn’t busy, so we were seated and began to enjoy our lunch stop. The server was very friendly and came to our table within seconds. She offered up the specials of the day, took our drinks, and asked if we had any questions about the menus. A little bummed they didn’t have draft beer, but they had Samuel Adams, so I was a happy guy. The menu was pretty good, especially for a lunch menu. Lots of different sandwiches, soups, salads, and entrees, all at decent prices. I decided on the turkey avocado sandwich, while the wife went simple with a chicken salad. The waitress was nice enough to bring a few different dressings for my wife to sample, mix, and match. We didn’t have to wait long for the food to come out, and I was happy with the quality and quantity of the food. My sandwich was very good, fresh carved turkey with sliced avocado, goat cheese, and bacon. The highlight of the meal could’ve been the sweet potato fries, however, those babies were GOOD. The wife kept stealing them from me, I had to eat them first to get as many as I could. The salad was also pretty impressive, it was very big, the lettuce was fresh and crisp, and there was a decent amount of chicken and cheese on top. When she couldn’t finish, I plowed through and wiped out the rest of the bowl– I’m generally not huge on salads, but this thing was pretty tasty. I was very impressed with my lunch here– the food was great, service was great, and I like the look and feel of the place. I would love to come back for dinner sometime, I bet this would be a GREAT place to have a steak on a date night. Really glad we stopped in, and I will have to remember this place for my next trip to the smoky mountains. Recommended.

One of the worst meals I have had since moving to Tennessee, and definitely the biggest disappointment. I have friends that rave about this place, so we decided to try it one Saturday night. From the beginning I knew we should leave. The hostess was so busy texting and talking to a server that she didn’t realize we had walked in. We were finally acknowledged and seated at a large booth in a lovely dining room. The server was friendly, but as this was her first day she knew nothing about the menu. We selected a bottle of wine, and after watching her fumble for an eternity I opened it for her. I have dietary issues(gluten free) so I have to ask questions. I should have written them down so she could address them all at once, because everytime I asked she had to go back to the kitchen. I finally settled on the special, pork chops, with a side of mashed potatoes and sugar snap peas. The Man ordered a burger, fries and steamed broccoli. The food came out and I was appalled. My «chops» looked like bone in scaloppini, cooked to shoe leather quality. The mashed potatoes tasted fake, very pasty and salty. The snap peas were cooked nicely, but after two bites I discovered that there were bread crumbs in the bottom of the dish, meaning they reuse the butter from the tables for cooking. Needless to say I couldn’t eat them. I called the server over to address these issues and I thought she was going to cry. I ate very little of the pork, and a few bites of the potatoes. The Man ate half of his burger, boxed the rest and we got out of there. No offer to adjust the check, nothing. We paid, tipped 10% and left. Never ever again.

This place is fantastic! Came here with a very large group(16) and the server took excellent care of us. The food is great; like what you would eat at a nicer steakhouse but for half the price. The absolute best thing on the menu is the blue cheese chopped salad. As were the lamb chops and steaks. A Knoxville favorite!
