I was referred to Dr Teagarden during my pregnancy after my OBGYN retired after only 2 appointments. The office staff and nurse are amazing and they are really willing to work with you on appointment times and are super nice. The Dr however seems great in the beginning and slowly goes down hill. She does not work well with high-risk pregnancies, patients with anxiety issues, or women with many complications. She is often on vacation, out of the country, or unreachable. I had all of the above. I was in terrible pain for half of my pregnancy and she was unwilling to look for the cause after a simple ultra sound and MRI turned up nothing. Her answer for that and many other issues was«I don’t know». In the end she put me on narcotic pain killers(that are not supposed to be used in pregnancy) and an anxiety medication that was not approved for pregnancy. My appointments were not consistant as with other OBGYN practices and many normal test were late or skipped. My baby ended up being breech and she made no effort to turn her, nor did she inform me that it was possible to turn her. She got tired of dealing with my issues and said that I needed an emergency C-Section. I consulted with a different OBGYN and they concluded that my C-Section was unnecessary.
