This place is such a headache. I made an appointment here because I was having blurred vision with my previous prescription and they were able to get me in fast which I was thankful for but everything after that was a complete disaster. This woman named Amy helped me(or didn’t help me actually) her terrible 90’s hair do should have sent me running for the hills. A terrible bob situation with red and blonde stripey hilights GAG! She talked over me the ENTIRE time I was there even when I try to describe the problem to the eye doctor she would ask me a question and before I could even answer she cut me off and started talking again. So frustrating. Then she said she would price match my contacts to 1800 contacts and they’d be in within 3 – 5 days so I did it. Huge mistake. She couldn’t work the computer kept asking for help and walking away to help others pick glasses while I just stood there took over an hour to place my order and then she couldn’t print my receipt. Then I never got a call saying my contacts were there. After almost two weeks of calling asking why they weren’t there and her being so rude acting like I was an inconvenience she informs me she ordered the wrong amount. Then more time passes and I keep calling every time being told tomorrow. Tomorrow kept coming but my contacts never made it. She told me she told the manager and had called corporate and everything was fine. Which was a complete lie. Finally after two weeks I spoke to someone else and low and behold they were NEVER ordered. When I told the manager he had no idea there was even a problem and said he’d call me back in 45 minutes and then after two hours when I called back he’d left and wouldn’t be back for 3 days. I asked for a refund multiple times and every time the person who does refunds wasn’t available. I finally did get the issue resolved after 4 weeks and they did give me a years supply instead if the amount of ordered for my inconvenience. But even so I will probably not go back. It wasn’t worth my time to be honest and I think if I hadn’t been as diligent as I was i would still have nothing!

This place deserves no stars. My girlfriend went there 6 weeks ago, because they were covered by her insurance, and BOGO special. After weeks of waiting for her glasses, she got them and the prescription wasn’t right, plus they told her the prescription wouldn’t work with those frames anyway. That would have been nice to know a month earlier. Today she goes back(the 5th visit) to get the replacement glasses, and they are no where to be found. I just spoke to the manager, and he said I would have to contact customer service, who never answered the phone. Whatever you do, avoid this hell-hole like the plague.

Well I still have not gotten my refund, even. though it was promised to me, now the person I spoke to doesn’t answer the phone. If you are smart stay away from Stanton Opitcal, they don’t care about there customers and they lie to you.

I would not recommend going here. My whole experience was awful. They took two months to correct ordering one pair of lenses. First the lady on the phone laughed at me, then told me that even if my mom or dad called there is nothing that they could do for me. Then when the lenses finally came in they broke one of them. So I had to go through the whole experience again.

I HIGHLY recommend Stanton Optical. I have been a customer for nearly a year and I have had an excellent experience every time. My frames and lenses were ready the same day(within an hour of my visit), and I now see them for contacts as well. I compared prices on exams and products and I couldn’t find anything cheaper and I don’t even have vision insurance. Not only do they have great deals, but their customer service alone will keep me coming back. I was helped by Leciesha today and she was excellent to work with.

Desperation will do strange things to a person. There was an upper-respiratory plague gripping my home & family of 5, and I wound up contracting pinkeye. As a devoted contact lens wearer of over 20 years, I found myself relegated to wearing my 10 year old, broken glasses – which were also off by about 5 prescriptions. After 7 days, my eye affliction had not passed – I had had a headache for a solid week, my glasses hung on my face crooked & everything past arm length was fuzzy. I caved & got a quickie appointment at Stanton. I was the only person in line for an exam. Still wound up waiting 10 – 15 minutes, as the doctor was on the phone with Verizon(I could hear the conversation… very awkward). His call was dropped several times, but instead of tending to me, he kept calling back. He even took a call while I was IN the exam room. Ick. So, I get my script and head out to the showroom. Lots of high-pressure salesfolk whom I finally just kind of rudely walked away from to conduct my search in peace. I selected two frames(the cheapest in the place, because I don’t plan on wearing them very often after my eyes return to normal) because they are currently running a BOGO scam. High-pressure sales gal sits down behind the table with a calculator & shows me a tally of $ 450(this is after they credit the cost of the eye-exam, thus making it free – what a great deal!!). Yeah, no. No, thanks. She knocked it down to $ 350 after I laughed. The coup de gras? They told me it would take TWOWEEKS to actually get the glasses. You’d do better to just buy a pair of magnifying glasses & hone your Mr. Magoo impression.
