This place is great, I stopped in after work since this is where the trolley let me off. 1. They were sampling chocolate covered caramels. Samples — win! 2. Prices — $ 18.95/lb, I didn’t know how that would translate to individual truffles and figured they would probably be a couple of bucks each, considering that is the price at the other nearby chocolate shop selling chocolate truffles. Instead I got 3 truffles for $ 1.87 — that’s right, around 60 cents a truffle, very very reasonable. 3. The quality of the chocolate was very good. Not the best I’ve ever tasted, nor the most inventive flavor combinations, which is why it didn’t rank 5 stars, but they were quite good. I only got dark chocolate pieces, which I would recommend. Definitely looked more appetizing than the chrome-like shiny finish on truffles I’ve seen in some other shops. I would love to see some more options in here like coffee, mocha, cinnamon, chile, liquer, etc. But I will be back!

The store was walking distance from the hotel that I was staying at so after getting breakfast at the farmer’s market in Market Square, I decided to walk off my biscuit and pick up some chocolates to take home. Mind you, I don’t feel that the chocolate here has any particularly subtle or complex notes, but there were some things that I definitely enjoyed. They have lots of chocolates and chocolate-covered items which are priced individually or at $ 18.95/lb. I sampled quite a few things, but the best item was probably the chocolate-covered oreo. I know what you’re probably thinking. Anyone who recommends a chocolate-covered oreo is probably one of those guys who thinks that deep-fried twinkies are pure genius. But seriously, this really was pretty good! One thing I would say is that you should only get the dark chocolate items. The milk chocolate(while recommended by the locals) is not nearly as tasty or enjoyable. In fact, I took back a collection of various items, half of which were milk. Once I tasted them, I regretted that decision immediately as the dark was 100% the way to go.

I have been a customer of the chocolate factory for many years now and have yet to be disappointed. From the basic chocolate covered pretzel to the most elaborate mixtures of truffles. I always find something new to try when I wander through the doors. Normally I buy enough to share with friends and family but somehow never end up giving them any! Anytime I leave the kma I find time to walk down for some chocolate! I highly recommend stopping by and browsing to find whatever sweet temptation suits you!

Place was great, staff was friendly and you get a clear view of the factory where they make the chocolate from the main entrance. The thing that I liked the best were the dark chocolate turtles and the polar bears(coconut and almond dipped in dark chocolate). Be prepared to spend some $$ though. Its a tad bit expensive but well worth it.

Wow! This place was great! They had all kinds of chocolate goodies and some tacky items for those that love getting people tacky touristy gifts. I tried a dark chocolate covered oreo and it was fantastic. I took a box of the dark chocolate covered pecan clusters and some kind of pecan turtles that were milk chocolate. They were a hit here in California. I also snacked on some kind of chocolate peanut butter treat and chocolate covered orange peels. You can’t go wrong here! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to come back!
