I normally don’t write reviews but the service I received today was so poor and rude. First I was 5 minutes early Before they opened to set up for a birthday party so instead of welcoming in me they made me wait out in the heat 102 degrees. Then putting a fews tables together was such a big deal. Also the wait staff all look so miserable at work.

I’ll start by saying, the food is good. The reason we likely won’t go back is the staff. We always order for pickup. I don’t know who picks up the phone, but on the weekend the person that does is very rude and annoying. The few Mexican named products, when I try to say the word, I am met with a loud«a what ?!», I get I don’t speak Spanish but my take on it wasn’t far from the real saying. 3 out of 4 times they have messed up our order. We checked as best we can but it comes to a point we’d have to unpack everything just to be sure. Upon arrival, no greetings and when waiting cause the bar area is the pickup area, they take their time to acknowledge you needing assistance. The food is good, but nothing most of the popular Mexican restaurants can’t offer. Ordered last time a soccer burrito and it was the same as if I ordered the chimichanga dinner. Same size and everything. And chimichangas can come unfried, The staff or the few we had to keep dealing with ruined our view on this place. Back to cancun’s it is for us. Least they are nice and attentive.

The food is excellent and well priced. We love that we can bring our dog to the patio and enjoy the delicious food. HOWEVER, the service is horrible. We have been here a few times and every time we sit for at least ten minutes, sometimes much longer before we get a server to even greet us. They don’t really seem to care if you need anything or not. With the exception of one nice young man, the servers have always been rude and act like it is a burden that you are there. So if you aren’t in ANY hurry and want good food, go for it. But don’t expect to be treated well.

Soccer Taco is located on Kingston Pike at the top of Bearden Hill. Soccer taco is cheap fast Tex-Mex food. Great drink specials and a large covered patio. The bathrooms are single units, so be prepared to wait. The interior is clean but dimly light. Best on a sunny weekend afternoon.

We love the food there, but the service is very sub par. The food keeps us coming back but we’re seriously considering not coming back again. We’ve ordered cheese dip and haven’t gotten it multiple times because it was never written down. We struggle to get refills or any waiter or waitress to come back and check if everything is okay. Instead they stand in the drink area and look at their cell phones. Please, write down orders so you don’t mess them up, get off your cell phones, and act like you care about your jobs!

Thank you to the other« Unilocalers», because your feedback enabled my hubby and I to find this place and order a great selection. I really liked his Cowboy Enchiladas a little more than my burrito, but both were great. The Margarita and guacamole were especially tasty.

The ambience here is awesome. What a great outdoor patio and fun interior vibe. And it’s also kid friendly.(I love the cute little soccer balls above the bar). The drinks here are mega-large. The bar is constantly pouring margaritas, margaronas and you-name-it some fruity but not over the top refreshing cold one for your neighbor. My word, they also have sangria! Chips and salsa are delicious. Mega high marks for hand made corn tortillas.(chips are also made in house). But still, the street style tacos disappoint. Specifically, the chicken and steak was bland, unseasoned and boring. Too bad! Because the asada and pollo were both sliced the perfect size. But they reeked with grease and the scent of being slapped on the grill next to someone’s not so authentic order. It just tasted.lifeless. Pour some onions and cilantro and drench some lime and salsa on it all you want. but you cannot season meat after the fact. Your just end up masking flavor over flavorless meat. I basically just ate onion and cilantro chewy meatsomething. I’ll try again another day. It’s worth it. I have to come back for the callejero elote. Reminds me of home.

Excellent place!!! Very good salsa and chips. Has a great flavor! Got the chicken/steak fajitas and it was very good. We always get the single and split it. Very reasonable. The taco shells were soft and warm wrapped in foil. The meat was not tough at all, very tender. The onions, peppers and tomato all had great flavor cooked in with the chicken and steak. Crisp onions and peppers. Very fast service. –Will Definetly be back–

The dining room area is quite small, but they do have seating outside for nicer weather. Food was good. I had the arroz con pollo, which at most places would be called pollo loco. The food choices are your run of the mill Mexican food staples. My favorite part about the experience was the PITCHER of Dos XX Amber for 8.95. If you like drinking and watching soccer, this is the place to be.

Sunday was the first time that I have ever been there. Crowded, but got a seat… by 2 families with 4 kids that needed to be put in time out. Parents should be ashamed for letting their kids act like that in public. Other than that, the food was ok, not great, but ok. Loved the big cold beer! A big plus. Service was good and fast. No problem with that at all. Might try it again when the weather gets a little better and can sit outside. Place is always packed, so they’re doing something right.

I’ve been wanting to eat at Soccer Tacos, and I finally got my chance over Christmas break 2015. Boy, am I glad we did! My dad, 2 nieces and my 4 kids were seated at a table within 3 minutes. Our waiter was great, he was attentive and very helpful. Our food was Awesome! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for mexican food! I will go back.

This review is not on the entire menu only on what I ordered! So far the tacos de lengua are beyond amazing. The tortilla de maíz(corn tortilla) is really good! The meat is very soft and you may not want to know the part of the animal it came from, but if you look beyond where it came from it really doesn’t matter. Taste is key! Salsa is ok! Chips good! I’m from Texas and is in search for an authentic Mexican restaurant this palace is not to bad. What I would like incorporated Homemade flour tortillas Homemade warm salsa Mexican sodas(not jarritos) preferably Joya(apple, grape, toronja and peach

Fantastic restaurant! I’ve wanted to stop in here for a very long time and finally had the chance the other day. The veggie fajitas are wonderful. When I’ve gone to Hispanic restaurants in the past, it was always hard for me to find a meal that had at least a little bit of veggies. However, this meal had everything. Not only were there the usual peppers and onions, but there was also cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots. The taste as the best part! Plus, the quantity was enough to have again for two more meals. With prices already so low, this was a win-win! In addition to my regular meal, I got a tamale. Super cheap and very yummy! My friend got the chicken fajita nachos. Lots of food and lots of variety on the plate. Service was great, too. Very prompt and friendly. My only recommendation is to mention about hot plates. I knew my fajita came on a cast iron skillet, but the guy put the plate on the table so quickly and took off without a reminder that I grabbed the handle to pull it closer to me. Minor burn on my thumb, but it’s all good now.

I came here with Grandpa on a Friday night for dinner and we not only got great seats but our waiter was the bomb. We tipped him very well. He gave us salsa and chips to start and because I am addicted to warm tortilla chips with chunky salsa, I gobbled them up in a matter of minutes and before I even finished it fully, our waiter bought a new batch! He refilled both the salsa and chips 3x! I think our waiter felt bad for Grandpa not getting any salsa and chips. He also bought out our food fast and made sure we were never low on water. Good employees like this are hard to find! Additionally, it was a busy night. I ordered: Churros — there’s chocolate stuffed in the middle. I was not a happy camper. They should have wrote that in the description because I’m not a huge chocolate fan. the churros were crispy but the chocolate killed it for me. Flan — hm. it was okay. I don’t recall wanting to gobble this up. Stuffed pepper — the sauce for this dish felt off. I’m not sure what sauce would be a better match but it definitely wasn’t the marina sauce. I ate it without the sauce because I just love cheese. After dinner, we played a few rounds of foosball! It was so much fun. FYI — One side is more stiff than the other. Overall, I had better Mexican food but I loved the speed service, salsa and chips, and our waiter!

Soccer Taco is a really good version of your standard Mexican fare. Some highlights are the Eagle Burrito Cheese Steak, which is a mess to eat, but well worth it. If you’re there in the early afternoon, check out the huevos con chorizo. It’s sorta breakfasty, and is a lot of food, but some of the best I’ve had. Also, the lunch options are really inexpensive, which is a plus.

Soccer Taco is probably the most consistent Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food is always fresh, the portions are always large, and everything tastes great! I definitely recommend the chimichangas. Also, they have a great«authentic Mexican» section of the menu, which is nice when I’m looking for a change. People obviously love the fact that so many sports are broadcast here, but I tend to stay away on big game days. It gets SO crowded.
