This Sears is nothing special. It has more bad employees in it than good employees, but the few good employees, especially in their upstairs appliance area, shine in their job

Bought what we thought were a pair of dumbbells on The web site had a pair pictured and the price marked down from $ 500+ After the order the next day we were just looking at some of the other dumbbells and were not clear which ones were pairs or not. So I called customer support 3 times. Talking to three different folks. One told me to contact a third party company that were selling the item but just using Sears web site. And gave me a number to call of the third party company. I called the number 4 times. Once got a broken worded recorded answer I could not understand. Next three times it seemed like the phone was answered but no one spoke on the other end. The second call to customer support the person looked at the web page an assured me it was a «pair» of dumbbells. I asked at least three times, and he kept saying it was a «pair.» In the meantime since the initial order, my gym had found out it was one dumbbell and ordered a second one paying the full price. I think had that it was one weight been clear up front on the web site we would not have ordered any. I called a third customer support number to complain. I was told«we cannot do anything about it, you can just cancel your order» I feel if these third party entities are going to sell goods as if we were buying from Sears that Sears should not be referring us to some third party when we call with questions. Basically Sears seems to be used as someone we might trust and from which we would buy products but we end up buying from someone from whom we would likely never feel comfortable buying. Plus their web site representation of what you are buying, at least in this case, was very misleading as to the quantity. I feel that is Sears fault. I will likely avoid shopping at Sears in the future. For anything. In part because of the misleading product info in the web site, but mainly for what I consider to be very poor customer support.

Bought a craftsman lawnmower from this location last year and it broke down after 8 uses. Sent it off for a total of 6 weeks and has comeback worse both times. Have been given the run around for months now with no help from the so called store manager and walked out yesterday and told them to keep it. I highly recommend that no one buys a craftsman mower especially from this location. Poor service and customer care. Bless their hearts
