Front office people are like angry cave trolls, who despise all humans. The nurse practitioner literally entered the room like Kramer from Seinfeld, startling everyone including our newborn. Talking like she was on some sort of speed, or diet pills. Very rushed, and intense. We love the Dr. s here, Dr. Rhea is amazing, but he’s hardly here. Setting up an appointment to see him exclusively is tough, and the cave trolls make you feel like you’re bothering them when you try to. Not pleasant. Oh and 90 freaking minutes over before we were seen and the waiting room was an empty ghost town. We love Dr. Rhea so it’s tough to think about switching Dr. s, but they are just so terrible with people.

Horrid. I’m not sure how long the office has been trying to modernize their patient’s files and getting their office up to speed but surely their practice can’t possibly be this incompetent. One visit was all it took for me to determine that I would never, ever return to this practice. We weren’t seen until 45 minutes AFTER his scheduled appointment time, which we arrived in time to attend. Prior to arriving, I had confirmed that I had all medical records necessary as my child was a new patient. I was even directed to their online website to get him set up. Clearly it was a time waster to have made attempts to have this info prepared ahead of time, as I still had to go thru the arduous process of answering all of the very same medical history questions to nurse/tech that took his vitals as well as to the student NP and THEN the NP that he only saw for 6 – 7 minutes total. From start to finish, we were there for 2 hours. Thankfully, my child is very healthy and has only gone to a doc twice for minor things(first little cold at 9 months, a bit of eczema)…I cannot imagine for the life of me how it must feel to be subjected to this type of sub-standard medical care on a regular basis… especially for a child. My total lack of confidence in this practice’s abilities to handle their patients efficiently and effectively has been confirmed twice now by a couple of parents I’ve met recently(moved to Knoxville less than 6 months ago) that, without my prompting, made the same kind of remarks about the practice. Inefficient and unacceptable.
