It’s now in the final stages of reconstruction, but there is NO other place with the variety of liquor, wine or beer. They just installed taps and have 25(the largest in the state) in total so you can come and get a growler(Tuesdays it’s 1 dollar off) of a rotating variety. They have undeniably the largest selection of high gravity beer in knoxville or the surrounding cities. There really isn’t any reason to look elsewhere for what you’re looking for.

Stopped in yesterday as I was passing through Knoxville on the way to Kentucky. An outstanding selection across the board but my main interest is Bourbon of which their selection was great! I picked up 6 of the 10 recipes of 4Roses Barrel Selection, two barrel selections of Old Scout Smooth Ambler, along with a few others. Prices were in line with other places but some others were on special for as much as $ 40 less on very high end bottlings. On top of this I got a 10% discount for buying case quantity Great service, knowledgeable staff, a huge selection at the tasting bar so you can try before you buy, what more could you want!

McScrooge’s has become my go-to place for hard to find rums, liqueurs/aperitifs, mixers, and every kind of bitter under the sun(most of which, you won’t find anywhere else in Knoxville). The beer selection is, to my knowledge, second to none. Recently expanded, McScrooge’s seems to have gone out of their way to stock hard-to find items, many of which you’d normally have to drive to a different state or a major city to find. The staff is always eager to order items that they don’t have in stock or suggest similar items. Whether you’re an amateur mixologist, stocking up for a weekend on the lake, or just want to find your favorite Scotch, McScrooge’s should be your first stop.

The ballin’est liquor store in town. First, this is the only establishment, to my knowledege, to be taking advantage of the vast and plentiful benefits of the recent liqour law changes in TN. They have remodeled, added in growlers and fancy beers, are ready for the high-grav beers we are«allowed» to get in 2016. They also have a keen eye on just how rapidly craft-cocktail culture is growing, and they feature an amazing and ever-expanding selection of bitters, tonics, shrubs, liquors, etc. Back to the benefits of the recent law changes, I haven’t seen another package store take advantage of this in terms of retail, the way McScrooge’s does. They have gift-wrap wine bags, corkscrews, cool cocktail glasses, greeting cards, and much, much more. This is THE première all-encompassing store in town. I only hope some of the other former frontrunners will see the light and step up to take advantage of all they CAN now offer.

I only go here for the beer. They have the best selection in town for craft beer and it’s reasonably priced. You can buy high gravity beers, above 6.2% ABV too.

I enjoy shopping where merchandise is easy to find, clearly marked and where service is superb. This place is abysmal on all counts. It is congested, dark, difficult to quickly locate what you’re after and management borders on being utterly rude. I didn’t like it the first time I tried it. I tried again and it was consistently bad. The best places know who they are.

One of the best selections of single malt I’ve seen in the US. Helpful staff, too! Many bottles are available for tasting too, this is a very rare thing.

This place is a great stop for the craft beer lover. Great selection, fair prices, knowledgable staff. I stopped in on the way home to St. Louis to pick up some stuff we can’t get. I ended up spending $ 150. Don’t tell my wife!

Nice selection of big beers and pretty good variety of vodka makes this a go to when I’m in the area.

The selection here is what separates this place from the rest of Knoxville’s dinky liquor stores. A wall of scotch, my friends, a wall of scotch. They have an excellent selection of bourbon, rye, and other whiskeys, as other reviewers have mentioned. However, here are two unsung heroes: the best selection of port and gin in Knoxville. Also lots of interesting liqueurs — stone pine, anyone? If wine is your thing, about half of this large store is taken up with wine from all over the world, and the 90+ points under 20 $ rack is a great place to look for high end deals. If you like rare finds of any of the types of alcohol above, ask to go in the back room, where they have a temperature-regulated selection of old, expensive bottles of scotch, port, wine, etc.

The largest selection of Scotch in Knoxville and probably the best trained staff. Great wine selection also… and they will special order things if they don’t have it. The Manager Brent is the most knowledgeable Wine/Spirits expert in town, hands down. This is a one-stop shop!

The largest selection of Scotches around. Good wine selection. I love the beer selection here. They have everything you could be looking for. They have products that I have not seen in other stores. If you are searching for something and cannot find it, just ask and they will see what they can do to get it for you if they don’t carry it at the time. Afternoons you might get caught in traffic as it is at a busy intersection around Cedar Bluff. So my advice go early or go late :) Cheers & Enjoy!

I ventured in here for the first time today in search of a rather hard to find bourbon. They unfortunately didn’t have it, though I don’t hold it against them, it’s rather new on the market and no one else in the area sells it. Anyway, I was very pleased with this store. It’s by far one of the nicer liquor stores I’ve been in. They have a fantastic collection of all things alcohol. They have an excellent selection of scotches, whiskeys, and bourbons. The best in town I’d wager. The staff is friendly and willing to help. Prices are good, Bob’s probably has them beat, but barely. I ended up with a nice bottle of Redbreast 12 yr Irish Whiskey. I will definitely be coming back.

This is the best liquor and wine store in Knoxville. It is located in west Knoxville off of Cedar Bluff lane on North Peters Rd. I used to forget it was there because I don’t really drive down Cedar Bluff very much, but I have decided this is my favorite place for 2 reasons 1) It just feels classier than the rest. I really like how they have the place organized, lit and designed as it makes shopping more pleasant and inviting. You walk under arches to enter little wine ‘rooms’ and it feels like you have a bit of privacy to browse. 2) There is a huge selection of liquor, wine and beer. I always find things I could never find at other places, like Apfelkorn! I don’t think anyone else will care about that, but I find it amusing. They boast having a good selection of scotch. Just look at their website to see the beer selection.
