McDonald’s

After shopping we decided to stop in and grab a quick bite. We had the fish sandwich with fries of courts and a strawberry banana smoothie, which I like alot.
This McDonalds is very good.

I can’t speak to the experience of others, but mine was AWESOME!
We were on a Christmas road trip to visit family and chose this location based on proximity to the interstate and presence of a PlayPlace for the kids to burn off some energy after being cooped up in the car for several hours.
First, the most important part, the food. It was hot, fresh, and tasty. You pretty much know what McDonald’s should taste like and this far exceeds expectations.
Atmosphere. It’s a McDonald’s. Nobody expects linens, candlelight, and a harp. However, compared to other McDonald’s, this contemporary design and recent construction outshine the local competition by a mile. The PlayPlace is obviously one of the newest designs and was much cleaner than expected. Actually, the whole place was pretty clean; even the bathrooms. It’s quite obvious they strive for excellence here and the atmosphere is no exception.
Service. The backbone of the, well, service industry. It’s clear from the friendly greeting when we entered and the pleasant demeanor of the staff when we placed and received our order that management places customer service as a very high priority. And it wasn’t just with us, as customers, but even their intra-​team interactions were very amicable and goal oriented (keeping the customers happy).
In summary, you really couldn’t ask for anything better from McDonald’s, or any restaurant for that matter. I have zero complaints and DEFINITELY recommend this location to hungry travelers!

Just left the drive thru after getting our order. The order was correct, the sandwiches hot, the fries were lukewarm at best. Normal for McDonalds unless you are waiting at the window for 5 minutes.

I’ll update this to a 2 star because I had great service at 3 am a couple weeks ago, but the other day I stopped for breakfast and got poor service again. I stepped up to the only person standing behind a register. He then told me that someone else will have to help me. Really? Who? Where is the someone else this guy speaks of?
Finally someone came up and she was not exactly friendly. She got frustrated at the register and when she made my Frappé, she left quite a bit in the blender. She turned it upside down on the wash before I could say anything. Next time I’ll talk with the manager.
Unfortunately this is the only 24 hour McDonalds around the area.
