Kroger

This Kroger’s huge! I recently moved west so now I’m getting used to this location. The staff is extremely friendly and they are usually fully stocked. I haven’t left without getting what I needed. I’ve been here during rush hours too and I never had a problem with parking. The gas station is conveniently located next to the supermarket. Are all Krogers like this? There’s also sidewalks leading here so you can walk it!

I go to this Kroger because of it’s convenient location to my house and it has a Starbucks. (There is a Food City between me and Kroger but I choose Kroger any day.)
I mainly come here for the pharmacy. I have been getting my prescriptions here for about 5 years. The staff is always very nice and they go out of their way to help if I am having a problem. If you go during peak hours (usually between 4 and ⁶⁄₇) then you are going to wait longer for your medication but that is true of pretty much any pharmacy. The 2 main pharmacists, Christie and Bryan, are very knowledgeable and helpful. The drive-​thru is also convenient for those times when you just do not feel good enough to go in the store.
The rest of the store is «good». They have a large selection of products at competitive prices. Their store brand items are almost always just as good as the name brand. And if you don’t like the product they will take it back, no questions asked.
The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because at this specific location the store manager, Ted Mills, is very rude. If they get a new manager they will get 5 stars!

If you get easily frustrated with Cedar Bluff/​Kingston Pk traffic, and look for ways to avoid the journey to the Kroger Marketplace then this is an easy location to visit off Middlebrook. The staff is a younger crowd, but they are very helpful, and the Pharmacy staff is always willing to help. Avoid going between 5p-​7p… this is pretty much the busy time every day of the week.

This is the closest Kroger to me and one of the better ones in Knoxville. They have now remodeled the store and expanded to include the drive-​thru pharmacy. The floors have been redone to a shiny marble, and the feel of the kroger is much more upscale.
