This place is a disaster… at the holidays and sometimes otherwise. There is always product laying in the floor and someone trying to get a discount on a costume that’s missing pieces. I would rather drive to target/​walmart at east town.

There is a special place in my heart for Kmart because its the only superstore type of retail in North Knoxville. Also many Kmart stores have closed in recent years. However this place overworks it’s employees like today having only 1 or 2 people working a check-​out lane. I stood in line for over 15 minutes because there were only 2 check-​outs open. The couple in front of me were buying SALE merchandise and the computers weren’t ringing up the sale prices. I think overall Kmarts are in decline but it seems like they aren’t doing themselves any favors. The CEO of Kmart needs to get back to good old fashioned customer service & having well-​trained managers/​employees if they want to keep afloat. I would go back to this store because it’s close to me. I am going to avoid it for awhile in hopes they get their computer glitches in check !
