Best service center and the customer service can’t be beat! Loved working with Kimo on our purchase, then after moving 4 hours away and having trouble with our local service center to do basic things I now drive the 4 hours to Knoxville to make sure my Passat gets the best treatment possible! I was surprised to discover that my services were not complementary when I brought my Passat in for its 30,000 mile service. There was an implied understanding when I received my E-mail notice to «get the car serviced«before the year had lapsed since I bought it. I was informed that the policy was not good on 2014 models and right here at Christmas I had an unexpected expense. I would say to Harper that when you establish a relationship with a customer that you follow through with promises. I thought warranty work was complementary. Otherwise, why the urgency in the notice to bring the car in in the first place? I had been sold on Harper because of Kimo, but I wasn’t dealing with him this time. Beware.

Over the years I have bought many cars from many different dealerships. I have always found the service and sales staff at Harper’s to be friendly and knowledgeable. When having my car serviced, they have always been great about getting me a loaner. I would definitely recommend them when considering buying or having your car worked on.(If they sucked, I’d say so.)

From the moment I stepped onto the lot I was given just the right balance of attention and being left alone. The correspondence with the online department following was prompt and accurate following that. Then my subsequent trips in to the dealership were handled professionally and still personally. I am a researcher and have to think serious purchases through. J R my sales person was patient and willing to speak honestly of pros and cons of specific models and equipment options. In the end I settled on something very unique but fit my specific situation. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Most unhelpful customer service. I love VWs but cringe at the thought of dealing with these people. When I was looking at buying a new car I went there, asked for certain specs, was told they’d check and call me back. They never did, I went ahead and bought one in another city. Same with spare parts I requested: they never called back, I bought them online. Need help with minor collision damage? Nope, they can’t be bothered. This place is a nightmare. I may have to reconsider my attachment to VWs just so I do not have to deal with Harpers ever again.
